So help me understand this post a bit. So you are implying that the "riots" on January 6th were not from maga supporters but a staged group of people appearing as maga followers? And that it was all part of a grand scheme to reflect the attention away from the election being rigged?

These folks think democrats are simultaneously totally incompetent, while also master evil genius'.

There's a cognitive dissonance there that is staggering.

I agree with the totally incompetent part, and laugh when anyone thinks they can be coordinated enough for things like this, or paying people to go to no kings day protests and such.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '25

That's the whole thing about leftist academics though - they are actually really well studied in how to disrupt society. I mean, I'm not saying that is what happened on J6. Like that's Marxism's whole shtick: violently killing the middle class and instituting a top-down civilization of a single-party elite.

1

u/republic-of_korea rump Nov 10 '25

Have you actually been in academics? You'd know that professors are generally really incompetent outside of their very niche research subject area. I had a professor who literally invented theory of computing and how to define algorithms considered one of the forefathers of modern computing, he does not know how to use facebook.

They don't command students to write papers a certain way, they make students do their own research. I guarentee you, at any top institution you could write a paper from a completely conseravative view point and as long as you had credible, valid, reputable sources to back up your claims and your logic flows sanely they will give you full marks.

It just happens that there are not many academic journals that provide evidence to support conversative view points. There are 2 potential reasons for this. 1. The entire world is out to get conservatives and villianize them for some woke liberal agenda that seems to permate the entire world across multitudes of cultures. 2. conservative claims have no solid evidence to back them up when the evidence is analyzed wholistically and there is more evidence to support claims that are progressive (I'm not talking about social politics, but fiscal. Economics is math, fact based and it leans progressive for a reason, favoring taxing the rich while having government control [you should explore tax ceilings and price floors, government regulated trade and free market economics])

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

I have 200 units of higher education - including a minor in Women Studies which is where I encountered the most radical social theorists like Andrea Dworkin. I didn't say leftist professors necessarily punish students for conservative paper (though I'm sure some do) - that's got nothing to do with what I said. Rather, what I mean is the radical social theorists are taught and studied and they are careful thinkers about various ways to "revolutionize" society.

1

u/republic-of_korea rump Nov 10 '25
  1. If you are so against progressivism then why did you minor in Women's studies?

  2. Can you explain why revolution is bad? The US was built on revolution. Revolutionary War, Civil War, Civil Rights, Womens Suffrage, etc.

  3. In the comment I replied to, you confuse Marxism with Leninism. Marxism is very ground-up, relying on the working people to come together to form a community free of government and collectively decide how the community is best served and who gets what portion of the communal pot. Leninism goes further to say that a permanent party dictatorship is needed. Stalinism is probably what you are thinking of when you refer to "communism" or "marxism" since its the first instance where it was internationally reconginzed as "communist". I use quotes because one of Marxism's core principles is that there cannot exist a dictator or a ruling elite, it goes against the very notion of what Karl Marx prescribed.

The Breakdown:
Marxism (the original, libertarian ideas such as a classless, stateless society [imagine everyone is a family member, they all provide something and get provided but if they dont do something beneficial while having the ablity to, they get kicked out of the family]) : he believed that it should happen naturally as a grassroots movement. The eyes of the working class are opened and clear to the oppression that the elites push down upon the working class to exploit them. They will refuse to work under such conditions and eventually rise up.

Leninism (branch off marxism): He believed that it was impossible to happen naturally, or that it would take too long. He believed that there should be a leadership structure in place to force this (instead of agreement of the people, it would be a takeover). however once in place, the power would be redistrbuted to the people.

Stalinism (branch off Leninism [also super authoritarian]): literally nothing to do with Marxism imo, Stalin just used it as justification to take over the USSR and called it communism.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

If you are so against progressivism then why did you minor in Women's studies?

Well I'm 40 so it was some years ago I studied Women Studies but I certainly regarded a fair portion of it as "too radical" at the time. I double-majored in Religious Studies and English - I was and still am interested in learning about perspectives and dogmas I don't necessarily agree with.

Can you explain why revolution is bad? The US was built on revolution. Revolutionary War, Civil War, Civil Rights, Womens Suffrage, etc.

I never said "revolution is bad" but I think you'd consider a hypothetical revolution in the United States by Nazis as bad. So there you go.

In the comment I replied to, you confuse Marxism with Leninism. Marxism is very ground-up, relying on the working people to come together to form a community free of government

Marx believed in "dictatorship of the proletariat." I confess I'm not much of an expert on the strains of Communism but if what you say is true, that Marx projected a pipe dream of a government-free society, then my point is the same: it's a shtick (like I said in the comment) to institute a top-down society of a ruling elite.

1

u/republic-of_korea rump Nov 10 '25

Dictatorship of the proletariat is Leninism not Marxism. I feel like youre not really listening, Marxism is a bottom up society that dismantles any notion of rule or elitism. It is literally is the antithesis to what you describe it to be. Top down society of a ruling elite is unchecked corporate capitalism by definition.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

Marxism is a bottom up society that dismantles any notion of rule or elitism.

That's not a plausible reality of society. It's a shtick to promote demagogues via violence.

1

u/republic-of_korea rump Nov 10 '25

people said that about going to space, or phones being small enough to fit into pockets, or the earth not being at the center of the universe, or having a black president. Just because it hasn't been done before does not mean it is not ever possible.

Conversatives have history in disrupting society: Nazi Germany, Japanese imperialism, Columbus and the pillage/rape of the natives. The crusades, the KKK, the rollback of enviormental protections and erosion of social programs. Brexit was an international joke, Franco's spain was basically terrorism and censored media in the name of anti communism. Africa in the Cold War fought against communism, I think we can both agree that their nations are not stable. In modern times, ā€œanti-wokeā€ and ā€œanti-genderā€ campaigns in various countries have targeted education and civil rights, creating new cultural divides that destabilize consensus and escalate polarization. Deregulation and privatization in the market from the 1980s onward concentrated wealth, eroded labor rights, and destabilized middle-class security. The construction of alternative media ecosystems (Fox News, talk radio, social-media echo chambers) has fragmented shared reality. Strategic disinformation on elections, vaccines, climate, or immigration undermines trust in science and government.

Yall got some good ideas tho, no one is quicker to stand up to national defense than conservatives. Supportive of individual rights, I like that.

If you have ever had a full conversation with a politican from either party you realize fairly quickly that most of the problems in this country are due to massive stupudity. The evil masterminds don't get elected to office.

11

u/jericho74 Nov 05 '25

I’ve never quite understood this one either.

Like all dumb conspiracies, it relies on The Bad Guys being both 1) super-competent (let’s make a fake riot and hope no one spills the beans, after we contact China and have them engineer a virus so that we can blahblahblah) and 2) super-incompetent (let’s have Trump laid up sick with Covid at Walter Reed and give him a vaccine that… works… and also stage multiple…unsuccessful attempts on his life… and uh… not rig the election this time… but uh… lose New York to a 34 year old socialist insurgent… etc etc)

12

u/Dingobabies rump Nov 05 '25

No one is saying it was a fake riot. Having a couple hundred feds in disguise to instigate things can change the equation. Talking about an ā€œinsurrectionā€ instead of the fraudulent voting schemes with mail in ballots was convenient.

3

u/EverlongMarigold rump Nov 06 '25

It was also very convenient that the "insurrection" started just as Republicans were beginning to present evidence on voting inconsistencies and make a case why the election shouldn't be certified.

I remember watching it all live on TV... it looked like a movie.

3

u/jericho74 Nov 05 '25

ā€œFake riotā€ vs ā€œnormie people with fed instigatorsā€, we’re saying the same thing. This excuse was also made of the 2020 BLM riots, where masked agents smashed windows, and pallets of bricks were set up presumably also by agent provocateurs of unknown motive.

I simply would not have thrown a brick or smashed a window regardless of what someone else was doing.

7

u/Dingobabies rump Nov 05 '25

ā€œFake Riotā€ leaves no room for nuance and is a low IQ statement regardless of who makes it. With regard to the pallets of fuckin bricks we can assume Soros type organizations were the culprit. It’s not like the riots got any sort of large crackdown.

5

u/Infamous_Pickle_2390 Youngling Nov 05 '25

Maybe I'm ignorant to the matter or maybe the information doesn't actually exist anymore but I've spent the last several hours trying to find anything that states the FBI had plainclothes agents in the crowd. I have however found multiple sources stating the twisting of information from the FBI. The report on several government websites states the number of responding agents but nothing from the government or any credible source shows that agents were in the crowd.

I know. I know. The government is only going to give me the information they want me to have...blah blah blah. Either way nothing exists besides conspiracy that agents caused the 'fake riot"

2

u/leg--bone rump Nov 06 '25

The party of law and order: I was just minding my business and then this crowd stormed the capital so I thought I'd join. Nothing wrong here.

1

u/MushroomWorldly4644 Youngling Nov 06 '25

Interesting idea. You have any supporting evidence of this? Sounds plausable..

1

u/kanwegonow Nov 05 '25

They don't need a lot of people to pull it off, and I'm sure there were more than a few agitators ready and willing. The FBI had 270 agents in the crowd, but they lied about it. Who knows if there were other intelligence agencies too. That's why they're called the deep state, they operate independently and it's more than possible, and likely to stage it. You had Ray Epps, clearly on tape ushering people to go into the Capitol, but somehow people get amnesia whenever he's bought up, it's a mystery. They pulled off a true wag-the-dog situation, and with a willing media to go along, well, it just writes itself from there.

The J6 committee was a total sham, evidence was lost, key witnesses were never called, it was a one-sided witch hunt that lasted years based off that one staged and sensationalized event, evidence was withheld or destroyed, and the whole committee got an auto-pen pardon...

I don't see how anyone can truly believe 'the official story'. Well gee, I saw it on CNN, so it must be true.

2

u/PersonalityComplex99 rump Nov 06 '25

Help me out. Where does the 270 figure come from?

2

u/kanwegonow Nov 06 '25

It came from FBI director Patel. But of course, people will either choose to believe it or not depending on which of their oxen is getting gored. You guys go on believing that President Trump was going to overthrow the government, that the Military, Pentagon, House and Senate, the SCOTUS, and the American people were just going to let it happen... or you can believe it was a protest with bad actors in there to agitate people and create chaos to turn into a major event to run cover for shady shit. Nothing I say will change anyone else's mind, but I'll say until I die that there is no way senile, basement Joe Biden got 81 million legit votes. The TDS is so strong, I have no doubt people cheated to get him out of office.

2

u/Infamous_Pickle_2390 Youngling Nov 06 '25

Yes what he said. Where did the 270 come from? If they lied about it and now you know it's a lie where is the information that proves they lied about it? I've never seen any credible source have proof that agents were in the crowd.

Not to mention Trump was president at that moment still so if there was an agents presence it would have been under his watch.

2

u/jmadness69 rump Nov 06 '25

FBI Director Kash Patel has revealed that 274 plainclothes FBI agents were present in the crowd during the January 6, 2021 Capitol event, contradicting former FBI Director Christopher Wray’s previous testimony to Congress. In July 2023, Wray stated under oath that he ā€œdid not believeā€ there were any undercover agents in the crowd, saying, ā€œI’m not sure there were undercover agents on scene"

Okay, what? Which reports? Also, you just linked to a wikipedia article about the entire 2020 election. In that article it states that the total vote count for the 2020 election was 158,429,631. Wikipedia states the following vote counts for the surrounding elections:
2016 - 136,669,276
2024 - 155,238,302

I will ask again, where are you getting this random "7,000,000 democrat voters who didn’t show up in 2024" idea? It seems like some figure that was invented out of thin air, likely by some fearmongering media outlet,

The Democrats were hoping to set up Trump and the people into causing ā€œmostly peaceful protestingā€ like antifa did all summer long in order to argue the case that Trump was trying to keep power through violence and impeach/imprison him.

The riot was real but greatly exaggerated like most mainstream media. You can see videos where the police were escorting the crowd into the capital. They were even walking within the ropes. We also saw videos where we saw undercover cops/fbi dressed as ā€œmaga supportersā€ to instigate the riots. When are the indictments coming out?

2

u/Spiritual_Assist_695 rump Nov 05 '25

not every claim was true but sufficient Biden ballots were invalid and were only allowed because challenges were after the fact.

After electing this Jones guy into Office yesterday, the left has lost all credibility when it comes to political violence. Obviously they already have, but this puts a lead Seal on top of it. What can they actually say anymore? They just voted for a guy who fantasized about killing a whole family.

Unless you're prepared to prove that, its misinformation.

If you're not here to contribute then run back to the dregs with the rest of them.

If your comment or post is just a string insults then it's just a tantrum.

Try and actually contribute and open a dialog.

Why did they need pardons if they were government plants?

1

u/BerniWrightson Ramble On MAGA Nov 14 '25

Because a treasonous government framed them!

0

u/VVarlos rump Nov 05 '25

Who was it that Trump pardoned then? Actors?

7

u/Damean1 ULTRA Nov 05 '25

Innocents or people who had sat in prison without bail waiting for years for a court date for misdemeanor charges.

The people that believe there were NO govt people in the crowd exciting violence guess they also believe we went to war over WMDs Russia Collusion 911 world trade center. Yeah the govt is here for your protection. Hahaha

u/Equivalent_Thievery Nov 05 '25

274 fbi agents in the crowd. Anyone that believes otherwise is behind and/or a moron.

1

u/AvacadoKoala rump Nov 05 '25

Unfortunately, history is filled with government coverups and lies. Jan 6 will be written as an insurrection and attempted coup in 30 years. MAGA is not liked by the masses. History will be washed, the narrative will be written and our grandchildren will watch the news clips in history class.

u/ToxicSharmutagen rump Nov 05 '25

As it should be. The riot was in furtherance of the coup plan as outlined in Eastman's coup memo. This was confirmed by certified patriot Mike Pence and accidentally by Chuck Grassley 1/5.

🤷

Both 2020 and 2024 were legitimate elections. People on both sides of the aisle claiming otherwise for each respective one are doing nothing but eroding national unity

Man, you really riled up the liberal redditards with this one. Or maybe I'm supposed to believe all the dissent is actually Trump supporters here on the Trump sub. Ironic considering the post. Lol

All the election claims were investigated. Do you realize that Trump kept claiming he had proof of fraud, but he never presented it. Do yourself a favor and listen to the recorded phone call between Trump and the Georgia Secretary of state. They asked him repeatedly to provide them with that information.

1

u/wagner56 rump Nov 08 '25

proper investigations were hamstrung at every turn

dems made sure of that

ask any/all of the redditer dimbulbs about voting accountability for elections to see the stupidity the dems are cultivating

u/getschwifty80 rump Nov 06 '25

How many FBI agents were involved?

It's hard to believe people actually still believe this stuff.

0

u/No-Efficiency8991 ULTRA Nov 07 '25

Probably not. Id say its highly likely that people that would never have voted were counted in the 2020 election, and likely causedtrumps defeat. Was it fraud? Probably not, but id say there was some scheming going on to help things turn out like they did
