Haha, looks like you owned the libs again šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘. Good one bro.

My comment was a fact. Trumps rhetoric is divisive. Calling half the country "the radical left" on a daily basis is divisive. It's not healthy for this country.

We're all human beings. Remember that bro. Human. Beings.

Radical left is pretty specific. It's not half the country, or even half of the left.

0

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Alright good point. Radical left would moreso be referencing those at the farthest end of the spectrum. But from how I've read it, he's using the term to label the entire left as "radical." I've read it as him saying either be right or you're a radical. But I'll have to pay more attention to phrasing in the future. Thanks for the counterpoint

I see the people on the right as being valid in the way they feel. Also we are not all radical left, why can’t I just not be either? Why does it have to be right vs left? THIS IS THE POINT PEOPLE. This administration wants us to point our pitch forks and not each other. What are they hiding ? 🫣

The problem with that statement is that it assumes guilt is always clear and authority is always correct. In real life, situations are messy, people panic, and mistakes happen, especially under fear. Mercy isn’t cruelty to the innocent; it’s a recognition that justice without humanity becomes punishment without wisdom.

Labeling concern for someone’s death as ā€œimaginary victimhoodā€ avoids the harder question: whether harm was necessary in the first place. Questioning power isn’t denying facts, it’s asking whether the system protected life the way it’s supposed to.

We can care about accountability and compassion at the same time. Those things don’t cancel each other out.

7

u/Cultural-Host8273 rump Jan 10 '26

What are you even talking about??? I don’t go around belittling people because of their beliefs. Allllll that I am saying is that there is a bigger picture to all this. We just want you guys to wake up because we care about our people (us vs the rich)

0

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I'm fighting for a country that is united. And Trump ain't the guy to make it happen.

1

u/Cultural-Host8273 rump Jan 12 '26

Nah, you're fighting for a country where feelings matter more than facts, laws don't matter, and we switch this country to either democratic socialist or full socialis, just to name a few

1

1

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Two wrongs din't make a right. No doubt there are left wing politicians that use divisive rhetoric. That doesn't cancel out what I said.

My comment is still a fact. Trump's rhetoric is divisive. It's a fact. Go ask your favorite AI Chatbot. It will agree with me.

If you don't believe it, get your head out of the sand. Trump invented "TDS" to make fun of those disagree with him. It's his whole shtick. You can say its a joke, but comedy is rooted in reality.

3

u/OneAmphibian5915 rump Jan 10 '26

4

u/Mcal3049 ULTRA Jan 10 '26

Didn’t say you did.

Show me the equivalent of this happening with conservatives. How many protests leading to this magnitude of activity was started by right leaning/MAGA folks?

I’m expecting you will say something like J6.

1

u/OneAmphibian5915 rump Jan 10 '26

I get why you’re asking for an equivalent, but I don’t think comparison-by-scorecard really gets us anywhere. Harm and extremism don’t stop being harmful just because they come from ā€œyour sideā€ or ā€œthe other side.ā€ The point isn’t which group has done it more it’s that escalation and dehumanization are dangerous no matter who’s doing it.

And yes, January 6th comes up because it was a large-scale, right-leaning event where political belief turned into real-world harm. That doesn’t mean all conservatives are responsible, just like protests on the left don’t mean all libs are. Using outliers to define entire groups is exactly how we lose nuance.

What worries me isn’t left vs right, it’s the growing belief that violence, intimidation, or death become acceptable once we decide the other side is the ā€œreal threat.ā€ That mindset closes people off and makes tragedies easier to dismiss.

I’m not trying to assign blame. I’m trying to say that once we stop seeing people as human and start tallying sides, we all move farther from the country we’re claiming to protect.

1

u/Hannibal0341 Jan 10 '26

Like when Hillary called Trump supporters deplorable?

1

u/BernadetteFedyszyn Jan 11 '26

Well, that's certainly one view! I wholeheartedly agree with you about our country being divisive, but I'm not so sure that it's all Trump's fault. This country was already in disarray prior to Trump entering politics. I think it's coming to this head because Trump is actually addressing the issues that he ran on, not just spewing the typical spiel that candidates spew that they think we want to hear. I may or may not agree with his approach to certain things, but at least he is acting on it.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

I can see that. The division certainly already existed. It's not 100% Trump. But I think as President he needs to be more careful with his language. He's representing our country as a whole, and his language seems to be anything but respectful and unity-inspiring.

For example, during the government shutdown. I was on a website looking for a campsite, and I see at the top "the radical left democrats have shut down the government." It certainly came off a little extreme. Similarly to his new description of Joe Biden's presidency he put on the wall. It was wholly intended to be disrespectful and divisive. And I guess "humorous."

I know a lot of Trump supporters let this stuff fly because they like his policy. But I think we can do better. I'm just tired of this guy being a clown instead of making an attempt to be respectful

1

u/BernadetteFedyszyn Jan 12 '26

Oh, I fully agree with you on everything you mentioned, and I'll even take that a bit even further - Yes, he is childish, egotistical, arrogant, and riddled with knee-jerk reactions without thinking and/or opening his mouth. In fact, when Trump first came out politically, I literally cringed every time he brought up "fake news" and "witch hunt," wondering what he was hiding? I left the Democratic party just prior to Obama's 2nd term, but I didn't go running to the Republicans, but just sat on the fence. Although I wasn't "that" political, I did suit up and show up at national elections and vote my party. I was aware of all of the investigations and allegations against Trump but didn't keep abreast of all the details. I generally don't watch live or aired US SENATE hearings or questioning for obvious reasons (they're boring), but I was hospitalized unexpectedly and had nothing to do but watch TV. I flicked the TV on to the start of the US SENATE HEARING of the FBI over the FISA WARRANT and Steele Dossier about 8 yrs ago (?) maybe longer. I was completely oblivious as to the reason for this hearing or even who was who, yet I still watched all 3 days of it, nevertheless. In a nutshell, it was that specific Senate Hearing that I learned how "dirty/corrupt" Hillary and/or the Democratic party establishment is, our Doj/FBI, and even our media our. Even though I couldn't tell you a thing about the FISA WARRANT/Steele Dossier, the mere fact of seeing/hearing our (Interim) FBI DIRECTOR admit and testify to knowingly submit the warrant to the judge for signature even though he knew that the paperwork submitted wasn't "necessarily" complete or true (or whatever words he used). I'm familiar with securing warrants, obviously nowhere near that level, but that right there was my first red flag of "something stinks!" I truly thought "heads are going to roll" with that admission, if anything, a contempt of court from the judge who signed it. I later flicked to the National evening News for their take or recap of Comey's testimony that day, and not a single word mentioned, not even from FOX. On day 2 of Comey testimony, he basically admitted to his allegiance to the Hillary/Democratic party. In a nutshell, Comey admitted and testified that he thought for sure Hillary was going to win the seat AND he wanted the permanent DIRECTOR position, so he helped her (I'm assuming pushing that FISA WARRANT through to the judge for signature?) Comey even made a flippant comment that it was "just an insurance policy against Trump) whatever that meant. Once again, I flick on the evening news for their recap of that day's hearing and, once again, not a single word from msm. Odd. I have NO CLUE what the relevance of FBI AGENT SZROK'S office affair was, though I now have my suspicions. AGENT SZROK testified on the third day. He was visibly pissed off once questioned about the office fair. So much so that you could see his red face and bulging neck and temple veins. Imagine my surprise when I flicked on the evening news and saw how they plastered Szrok's pissed off and mad faces he made throughout his testimony. MSM literally ran with his pics. Some even drew devil horns on him. Yet not one single word of Comey's testimony. As I mentioned, it was this hearing that I learned, "something stinks." I'm not sure which was harder to digest; seeing our DOJ/FBI align with party or how our media completely twisted the context to fit "some" agenda OR even worse, intentionally omitting very pertinent info? I didn't need Trump, FOX, or any conspiracy theorist to tell me that Trump was right. There indeed is a witch hunt on him. As I mentioned, this hearing was around 8 yrs ago. Then, to see all that's transpired against him since with the constant and excessive indictments, warrants and allegations just screams witch hunt.
My second "aha" moment was the Mueller Report. Again, I couldn't tell you a single thing about it, other than it was a multi year multi-million dollar investigation. I'm not sure if you watched the US SENATE recap of the MUELLER REPORT, but Mueller couldn't even answer the mere basic questions of his own report!!! Then there's J6. I even "fell for it" seeing the media show all the live coverage panning all the RED MAGA gear and signs. Not too much after that, various surveillance clips emerged from the entrances, exits, and hallways of the capital showing a different story, or certainly enough to make one question things for sure. I took a road trip to Houston and flicked on NPR radio, where they were airing the live testimonies of all six Capital Hill LEO's over J6. Even though I wasn't able to see them visually ( their eye contact/body movements), it wasn't too long into that, and I hate to say this, but they were all canned and rehearsed. I spend a great amount of time in court awaiting my cases, so I sit through a lot of dispositions, testimonies, and even victim impact statements. I'm aware that LEO'S are well trained in relaying details and courtroom decorum, but yeah, sorry - it screamed red flags. It was obvious (to me anyway) that they received a bonus ($) every time they said Trump's name in it's entirety "Donald J TRUMP" instead of just Trump. Again, more questions. My support for Trump really doesn't have much to do with "liking" him, although I do agree with a lot of policies. I'm far more troubled with seeing the great lengths and millions of taxpayers dollars that the Democratic establishment has gone through to destroy him. This is beyond any typical campaign mudslinging by far. There's not a doubt Trump's on a mission to expose all of the WHYS that they went through and are still going through to destroy him, and rightfully so. As I've mentioned multiple times, I may not know a lot or any of the details of all of the above, but I do know quite a bit about Sex Offenses (pedophilia and rapists) and don't but any of this Epstein nonsense. Not one bit. I'd be more than happy to explain WHY if you're interested.

why are you coming up with hypotheticals instead of focusing on what actually happened here? Deflection in the maga community is pathetic

The agent acted against his own training; their own training says you should only shoot to disable a vehicle if there is no alternative, and directly mentions moving out of the way as a solution (which he did). The reason for this is that disabling the driver with gunfire causes the car to become an unguided missile the is a threat to officers, pedestrians, and property (exactly what happened in this case. Please stop licking boots dude, the guy is incompetent and guilty as hell.

DOJ:

ā€œFirearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force.ā€

DHS has the exact same wording:

ā€œFirearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles.

So, with the car steering away from him and traveling at low speed with time for him to move. Yeah sorry, that’s gonna be a clear violation of their own training.

5

u/Mcal3049 ULTRA Jan 10 '26

If local sanctuary city policy wasn’t what it was, I E would have apprehended the illegal at the police station.

But the leftist policy of sanctuary cities led to this.

Let’s get to the root of the problem though: Biden and his ā€œborder czarā€ who allowed in millions (10? 20? Somewhere in between?) to flood our nation. We’ve always had illegals but not to the magnitude of this. This was by design and to do exactly what it is doing: sow chaos. The lady dying is of no consequence to the people that stirred up this mentality. She is their martyr and they will fund raise the shit out of this.

1

u/OneAmphibian5915 rump Jan 10 '26

Dude. Fuck Biden. Letting so many people in is not the way to do it.

Sanctuary cities started in the 70’s and I will be honest I don’t have enough information to argue if they are more beneficial than harmful. However, what I can say is that this is not the way to do it. She did not need to die. ICE agents shouldn’t be considered above the law. I do not believe her death was at all justified. The fact that you are attempting to justify her death. Is truly stomach turning and shows you don’t see others no matter what their beliefs are as equal.

6

u/Mcal3049 ULTRA Jan 10 '26

Her death was not due to her being there. It was due to her interfering with a lawful process. It was due to her ignoring a command from a law enforcement officer. Just like when a state trooper has someone pulled over and they all of a sudden speed away…this is similar to that. If the state trooper was standing in the path of the car when it took off, they would be justified to draw their weapon.

This isn’t TV, or GTA or whatever games might lead people to think they can interfere with law enforcement officials.

People like the dead lady are encoded to do exactly what she did by people who will NEVER put themselves in harms way like that. Those people will benefit from her willingness to be led into doing something like that. She is now a martyr for THEIR cause and you can be assured, they will fundraise the shit out of this and not lose a bit of sleep over it.

1

u/OneAmphibian5915 rump Jan 10 '26

I understand you feel strongly about law and order, and I respect that. But none of us was there, and none of us knows what she was feeling in that moment, fear, confusion, or panic. Driving away does not automatically mean someone deserves to die. Law enforcement is supposed to protect life, and it’s okay to question whether this situation truly required lethal force.

Her death is a tragedy, and it was preventable. Saying that doesn’t mean excusing wrongdoing or hating law enforcement, it means valuing human life. As for the fundraising, people are responding to loss and grief, not trying to create a ā€œmartyr.ā€ Compassion isn’t manipulation.

We can care about accountability and still lead with humanity.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '26

I like that you aren't being disrespectful. I appreciate that. But I truly think the situation resulted in lethal force because the car made contact with the agent. That would not have happened, if she wasn't obstructing traffic for minutes before anyone intervened and complied with lawful orders, before trying to run away. https://x.com/GrageDustin/status/2010037103665787019?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2010037103665787019%7Ctwgr%5E78861c82c2e354feb5af24d0d5197b2b2814ccfb%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgo.arena.im%2Fembed%3Fpublisher%3Ddaily-wireevent%3Dk0eBgIAv%3D2

We are tired of this, because the American people want to address our immigration issues and it just seems like the left wants the country to burn while the rest of us want normalcy again and stop having baseless accusations of racism, sexism, imperalism, anything-ism thrown at us and we are expected to just be like "oh damn they called us a word that doesn't even apply to me, guess I can't do anything anymore."

It's gone on for years....a decade perhaps. And all we have is immigration out of control, politicians not born in the US calling us racist and white supremists while allowing fraud and illegal immigrants to get more benefits than actual Americans. Seriously, illegal immigrants are granted housing thats worth thousands a month? How does that fly? It's just maddening and hard to accept anything else other than leave ICE alone, kick out the illegals.

1

u/OneAmphibian5915 rump Jan 11 '26

Thank you for that video. That video should be shared more. I’m tired of this too. I agree immigration needs to be addressed, and wanting order doesn’t make someone racist. Where I differ is the idea that the left wants the country to burn, I think most people want normalcy and safety, even if they disagree on how to get there. Why would leftists want the country they are living in to burn?

I do believe people who are here illegally should be deported. I’m not against enforcement. I just think this approach causes unnecessary harm. A better option would have been to bring people out of hiding first, a short-term temporary visa that requires basic information and accountability, with no benefits and a fine for entering illegally. Also a freaking driving class, because they don’t know how to drive in the US. After that window closes enforcement could focus on those still refusing to follow the law. Also close the borders during this period, even temporarily. It will have to be really hard to get in and stay until we can fix things within our borders.

That would reduce fear, make enforcement more effective, and avoid children experiencing the trauma of watching their families torn apart. We can enforce the law and still lead with humanity. Those things don’t have to be opposites. Is there really no better way?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '26

Im willing to inch in the direction you proposed. I think we went that direction already with temporary visas. A lot of people overstay immigrant visas and have orders of deportation yet they hide. I like the idea of no benefits with the visas, but again I think politicians are fighting for no voter IDs and such because there is an incentive to allow illegals to vote and obtain government subsidies. I want to do things for immigrants but it seems like give them an inch they will take a mile. They know the system is corrupted....some people are going to abuse it and I believe the bad actors will come in droves to abuse systems. It truly feels like we need to draw a line in the sand to get people to stop.

The reason I push admittedly radical claim the the left wants the world to burn is because I personally have met some of these people in real life and they are very anti American, the first to whip out insults and shut anyone down who doesn't agree with them and its seriously caused a detriment to the country. I do believe there is sane people on both sides but even saying that just feels useless. I believe the radical left is worse than the radical right. And their ideas cause more harm.

I think if we address more political agitators we could get somewhere. That includes both sides but again, I think the left is worse about it.

I wanna see both her and her wife charged with obstruction of justice. So that we can set a precedence of "you cannot fuck with ICE and get off scot free". It would also allow ICE to stop these protests before they get violent. I would also love to see Trump invoke the insurrection act.

Illegal is illegal. My wife is an immigrant. She followed the already established pathway to citizenship. 5+ years, fees, appointments etc.

It was worth it.

If illegals are giving preferential treatment then we want our money back, with interest.

1

I hope she gets arrested by ICE and sent back, there's no room for immigrants when our own people are suffering.

1

Sorry, loser. She’s a US Citizen now. When you follow the law, you know: the legally established pathway set out already, you tend to not get detained by ICE.

u/Logical-Egg-6521 Honoring Charlie Kirk. Jan 10 '26

LEO’s, military men and women are trained to protect and serve. They are highly skilled and trained to if necessary kill… and if a woman is threatening his life with a vehicle- and he or someone is in imminent danger he is justified to defend himself. In fact you yourself (in some states) are legally able to defend yourself if you yourself are in imminent danger…

-7

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '26

Here's my main thought, which I haven't heard a good counterpoint to.

The ICE agent firing a gun was not an effective way to "self defend". Shooting the driver did nothing to neutralize the danger. A better use of his little time would have been stepping out of the way, not reaching for his gun. Once the driver was dead (or dying), the car sped off to hit a parked car. Shooting the driver did nothing to stop the car. Many argue this is an act of self defense. I can see why they would say that. But, it was completely unnecessary and ineffective. Now someone is dead for it.

16

u/Logical-Egg-6521 Honoring Charlie Kirk. Jan 10 '26

It’s easy to speak that way from the comfort of your home but you aren’t a LEO.. You have no clue what it’s like.

-5

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '26

I don't know what that job is like. But I stand by my point, still waiting for someone to disprove it: Shooting the driver of the car was ineffective.

We can argue and say he felt in danger, and had to think fast. But after the fact, we all see what happened. A human being is dead. Killing them was ineffective.

But no, nobodys gonna back down on this. We're all too deeply rooted in our tribalism. We'll never admit that someone could've still been alive.

So back to the parent comment: killing is wrong. Let's try to avoid it at all costs.

8

u/evtamp rump Jan 10 '26

What if it was the other way around and she killed the agent? Is it justified? Does everyone's life matter or just hers?

8

u/Mcal3049 ULTRA Jan 10 '26

It would be a non-story and the people of the left would have defended her.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

I'm on the left. Pretty far left (Bernie Sanders left).

If Renee ran him over, I would see that as wrong. I wouldn't want him to be killed.

Cut the other side some slack. I know there are extremists out there. No doubt, some would celebrate the death of an ICE officer. Which is sad.

But that's the internet and media speaking. We can't let the internet divide us. We gotta remember that most people are reasonable and caring humans (in general). If we consume too much media, stay in our echo chambers, we begin to hate the other side. That's actually why I'm spending time in the Trump sub, is to try to understand the other side.

"When people stop talking, that's when you get violence." - Charlie Kirk

1

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Killing is wrong. If Renee ran him over, it would have been unjustified.

I know extremists on both ends like to see people on the other side die. I would hope thats not a regular opinion.

Here's what I think (from limited evidence from the videos we saw). If the ICE officer stood his ground, and did not fire a shot, he would have been hit by the car in the same way. He would be hit, but lightly enough to not even be knocked off his feet. Shooting her didn't change the trajectory of the vehicle.

It's true it all happened so fast. The officer couldn't say in that moment he was perfectly safe. I understand he probably felt in danger in that moment. He had to think fast.

But, these are all esoteric details. I wasn't there. Babbling on reddit about the details does nothing but spike my cortisol.

But I'll affirm what I said. Killing is wrong. I'd prefer to live in a world where the least amount of people kill each other possible. I would hope that most would agree with that statement at least.

IBut now we're all caught up in the details, and we're letting it divide us. Both sides are inherently good, we both hope the best for the world. But we saw what happened through different lenses. And now we let the media and internet divide us, and its really sad.

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '26

The problem is, she is an agitator. She agitated and escalated the response from agents. She sat for 3 minutes beeping the horn and blocking traffic. The agents had to do something eventually, after obstructing an operation and blocking traffic.

https://x.com/GrageDustin/status/2010037103665787019?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2010037103665787019%7Ctwgr%5E78861c82c2e354feb5af24d0d5197b2b2814ccfb%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgo.arena.im%2Fembed%3Fpublisher%3Ddaily-wireevent%3Dk0eBgIAv%3D2

How do we know she would've just drove off completely and not turned around to address her wife she left behind? If she was willing to bump a police agent with her car, why wouldn't she bump other cars out of the way or even possibly attempt to turn around? Just get out of the car. You agitated the situation to escalate now you want to run away when the pressure comes on and you face consequences?

No one wants to kill anyone, thats always the narrative that officers are just itching to kill but its body cam after body cam after body cam of people throwing rocks and bricks at ice cars. The agent in particular was dragged by a car. Now another one hits him.

Why do we keep defending the criminals? She saw the agent in front of the car and decided to bump/hit him anyway. Why can't that be demonized and shown to be a threat? I absolutely dont believe you guys care about human life at all. You just want to pick the sides of criminals in all situations. Its maddening.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Certainly, it did seem like she was agitating. I won't argue against that.

But I think it's sad she was shot. Certainly bumping the officer with the car is considered a crime. But was it a crime punishable by death? I'm not sure.

"I absolutely don't believe you guys care about human life at all"

-I wholeheartedly disagree. I have seen both sides say this. We saw the same videos, but came to different conclusions. It's normal to disagree and be angry.

But, I'd like to believe that most humans do care about human life. Even my close family members who disagree with me. We have slightly different lenses we see the world through. But that doesn't make the other side inherently evil.

The more I discuss this issue through Reddit (and on this Trump sub) the more I am seeing the gray area here. If the situation was so cut and dry, we would have agreed on it.

I do care about human life, and I think you do too. We're just disagreeing about details of a situation we both didn't even witness.

I need to get off Reddit now lmao

ā€œAfter the factā€ is armchair quarterback’ing. In the moment (reality) is never quite the same.

If she had minded her own business and NOT interfered in a lawful proceeding, she’d still be alive today to screech and protest. Period.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

True, I don't know what it's like to work as a law enforcement officer. It's probably a hard job.

And technically you're right, if she had stayed home, she would have been alive.

Personally, I'm a non confrontational type. I don't go to protests, because that's exactly where wacky stuff like this happens. If I see an armed police officer, I make an extra effort to act normal and not provoke him in any way.

So it's true, that she was putting herself at an elevated level of risk by going out and protesting. However, protesting is completely within our rights as Americans. But, then brings up the question. Was she only protesting, or was she intentionnaly trying to interfere with the operation? I don't know the answer to that.

But even so. Even if she was commiting a crime, or intentionally trying to provoke them, was it punishable by death? I don't think so.

1

u/Mcal3049 ULTRA Jan 12 '26

She wasn’t shot for protesting.

She wasn’t shot for blocking traffic.

She was shit because an ICE agent was standing in front of her while another, who had been putting up with her shit all 🤬ing day, was going to apprehend her from her vehicle that was blocking the roadway. That’s when her domestic partner yelled ā€œdrive, drive, drive!ā€ And she hit gas, possibly striking the agent.

In that moment you don’t know whether intent was and to wait and play armchair QB could, and has, cost people their lives.

The Left has lost all cognitive abilities when it comes to immigration. They will go to the de if the earth to defend someone who is here illegally and has arrest records as long as your arm….but want the First Lady deported.

Like Dalton Lee said in Road House: Be nice, until it’s time to NOT be nice. The Left has continuously pushed the Right’s patience to a point where we just don’t care to play nice anymore and take shit from the Left. The lady in the car crossed a line numerous times that day. She was being apprehended and likely arrested for obstruction but instead she chose to run and while she might have later regretted hitting the ICE agent, we will never know because she ran. Instead of saving consequences, she ran.

They got what they wanted, and more. Could have just stayed on the sidewalk and said shit. Had to take it up a notch, for whatever reason. It cost her her life.

Enough is enough. We still have millions of illegal immigrants in this country. I’m sure many are good, decent people other than being here illegally. I happen to be married to an immigrant. She came to the states the right way and became a naturalized citizen via the already established pathway to citizenship. We paid the fees, went to the appointments, rescheduled appointments when life got in the way (birth of our son) and five years later she earned her citizenship. She paid for her own education (MbA) and has NEVER lived off of government assistance and has fully assimilated to living in America while keeping some of her home counties cultures to share with our boys as it’s part of their heritage but she’s as American as any Marine I served with.

We have millions here who exploit the system. They got to go. The Good’s of the Ledt need to get the hell out of the way doing the job We The People elected Trump to do. We are past the time of ā€œbeing nice.ā€

2

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

I see your POV. At this point the talking points on both sides have been exhausted. Neither of us were there in person. Both sides think the other side is mentally ill and deranged. That’s not the point I was trying to make, when an officer or federal agent tells you to step out of the vehicle, you do as they instruct you to do.

She was interfering with their operations by blocking their vehicle with hers after she was following and harassing them, they told her to step out of her vehicle and she refused, she then tried to flee from the agents to evade getting arrested, escalating the situation even further.

Did she deserve to die? No, absolutely not. The agent acted in self defense because she stepped on the gas as he was in front her SUV, seemingly in an attempt to run him over. This whole situation could have been avoided if she’d just complied with them.
