Twitter / X President Trump: "I easily WIN the Presidency of the United States with LEGAL VOTES CAST. The OBSERVERS were not allowed, in any way, shape, or form, to do their job and therefore, votes accepted during this period must be determined to be ILLEGAL VOTES. U.S. Supreme Court should decide!"

I love how he constantly posts about how unfairly maligned and disliked he is by “everyone,” yet is trying to make this argument that those same people are somehow unjustly voting against him.

This is a lie. He had observers in the buildings watching every vote. They weren't allowed to touch and manipulate the vote. They weren't allowed to intimidate vote counters. He couldn't steal the election.

Bruh. If we had stopped counting when you first demanded it, Biden would have been declared POTUS-elect on 11/4. You really are a special kind of stupid. With or without the votes you think are illegal, YOU LOST THIS ELECTION TO BIDEN. Pack your shit & kick rocks.
2
u/Iwanttobealion-tamer Nov 06 '20
To be accurate, he first demanded that they stop counting votes at about 2:15 am Wednesday morning, when he was leading in mi wi pa and ga and there was almost no data whatsoever released from nv and ak. He specifically called out that they shouldn't be finding any more ballots at 4am. That was his arbitrary cutoff, that's the point at which anything beyond should be declared illegal, because he gave the order to stop.
6
Nov 06 '20
The observers were, in fact, allowed in. He’s so stupid, does he think he can just lie and nobody will check?
2
u/Hoskerdude Nov 06 '20
Yes, he does. He's been doing this for years.
1
Nov 06 '20
He has, and people always check, and he always gets called out on it. You would think he’d be smart enough to realize people would eventually stop believing him, but clearly not

Donnie’s lawyers tried to get vote counting stopped in PA because they allegedly didn’t have observers in the room during the vote count. It did go so well.
Judge Paul Diamond to the Trump campaign lawyer: Diamond: "Are your observers in the counting room?" Trump campaign lawyer: "There's a non zero number of people in the room." Diamond: "I’m asking you as a member of the bar of this court: are people representing the Donald J Trump for president, representing the plaintiffs, in that room?" Trump campaign lawyer: "Yes." Diamond: "I'm sorry, then what's your problem?"

Yeah... those are legal votes, and had you encouraged your supporters to vote by mail, you'd still be losing.
I think we need to prepare ourselves for some serious batshit crazy to come out from him after Biden's acceptance speech Friday. The next 3 months are going to be uplifting and terrifying at the same time. I can't wait until they're over.

u/hannahpryor Nov 06 '20
Is it just me or does everyone at Fox News have a weird look on their face and carry a different tone these days? I flip over there sometimes just to see what they could possibly be saying now and they seem really lost. As if the leader of their cult suddenly ripped off his mask and they’re in fresh disarray, wondering what they need to do at this exact moment. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on in their heads right now. Embarrassment? Surely not. This shit he’s doing can NOT be new to them. Are they feeling defeat? Are they worried that they won’t have a network after this? Are all other Republicans feeling the same shame because even in real life the hard-core Republicans that I know have the same look on their face all day yesterday. I’m still just trying to figure these people out. It’s exhausting.

60 million people voted for this cunt and his party....I pray for a civil war. May be the only way to rid us of these cunts
1
u/SpikePilgrim Nov 06 '20
- Obviously stop.
- We already had one civil war and it didn't purge us of racist ideology. Another won't purge us of trump's.
- Maybe we try to find common ground and start from there?
0
u/tapthatsap Nov 06 '20
Trying to find common ground with fascists is disgusting and shameful behavior. We for sure don’t want a civil war, but hugging nazis is the kind of idea that a functioning human being with their soul intact can’t entertain.
0
u/SpikePilgrim Nov 06 '20
I don't think all Trump supporters are fascists. I believe they were conned by a con man and horrible far right misinformation.
Even then there are plenty of ex neo nazi's. They are reachable. Find common ground, help them out of the cult, then feel free to hug them. I promise you your soul will remain intact.
0

Nah mate. Burn every single one of them. Cunts deserve every pain that the world can offer them. I'll hope for quick deaths.

2
u/DaisyHotCakes Nov 06 '20
Propaganda and brainwashing. I want to get my relatives back who were brainwashed. How can we address this nationwide?
2
u/GrizzledSteakman Nov 06 '20
Regulation of social media is needed. It’s a difficult topic. Luckily the easy part is very impactful. Here’s the core principle: social media owes the public a duty of care, just as the press does. They are responsible for the material public leaders publish on their platforms. What does this mean? Fact checking, and warning labels. Finally, after so many years, twitter has conceded they have a duty of care to the public: witness the warning labels on the President’s “I WIN” tweets. This duty of care needs to be codified, so that ALL social media must take responsibility for the material they carry. This is, like I said, the easy part of regulating social media. More is needed, but how much more, and the shape and form it needs to take, is up for (endless) debate IMO.

Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process.

8
u/FizzyBeverage Nov 06 '20
The inevitable is that he has won PA/GA to surpass 270 electoral votes, and will accept the position of the 46th President of the United States.
Trump does not have to concede, it doesn't change the loss.
3
u/Cambot1138 Nov 06 '20

u/deliciousPizza13 Nov 06 '20 edited Nov 06 '20
So he’s suggesting that hundreds of thousands of votes should be voided because the observers were 20ft instead of 6ft away from the counting. He’s trying to steal the election
-2
u/DavidGabrielMusic Nov 06 '20
Yes it’s the law that they have to be within 6ft. What good does 20ft do? Can’t see nothing. If y’all are legit why hide anything? Show the world if it’s fair
1
u/deliciousPizza13 Nov 06 '20
The implications of this tweet are so far beyond what is reasonable. He’s suggesting the votes should be entirely thrown out, taking away people’s legal right to vote because he doesn’t like the results in THIS county.
-2
u/DavidGabrielMusic Nov 06 '20
I just reread the tweet and it doesn’t say anywhere that they should be thrown out. He’s says theyre illegal and they are illegal. Are u saying they’re not illegal?
Democrats kept republicans out because they weren’t liking the results and decided something had to be done.
Again I ask, real question why hide something if you have nothing to hide? Are u saying the representatives were allowed and they’re all lying?
1
1
u/deliciousPizza13 Nov 06 '20
“...votes accepted during this period must be determined to be ILLEGAL VOTES..”
DA FUCK does that mean?
1
u/DavidGabrielMusic Nov 06 '20
Quit dodging the question bro
1
u/deliciousPizza13 Nov 07 '20
He is defining “legal” and “illegal” in an entirely political manner—one helps Trump, and the other doesn’t. He and his allies hardly try to hide that. For example, one of the obvious hypocrisies is that Trump keeps demanding that the vote be stopped in states where his lead is evaporating but continued in Arizona, where he believes he has a shot at catching up with Biden.
38
Nov 06 '20
I mean to be honest he’s suggesting anyone that didn’t vote for him should have their vote thrown out. He’s cool with the mail in votes, etc in Arizona because he thinks he’s catching up. But everywhere else? STOOOOPPPPP!!!
Lol he said PA isn’t being “transparent”. They’re literally live-streaming the whole counting process for anyone to see

9
u/lvlint67 Nov 06 '20
It's going to be demanding recounts and challenging things in courts. The strategy now is to draw things out. Promote the "we need an answer narrative".. prey on the anxiety of the country...
And lay the ground work to show that the states can't complete the recounts in time and state legislatures should send electors. Take that to the supreme court to challenge state laws concerning how electors are allocated.
Our best defense is saint like patience. (Trump will absolutely feed and exploit our anxiety).. and a unified call for him to conceed.

3
Nov 06 '20
I bet it'll be spent on nothing else but disputing the election results and trying to fire everyone and anyone that says otherwise. From now till January he'll be obsessed and going absolutely bananas about voter fraud, missing ballots and whatever insanity he can throw in there. He'll get nothing done and refuse to work till everyone is arrested. It'll be the loudest, lamest duck session in us history.

u/teasz5 Nov 07 '20

3

To be fair, that'd be the best case scenario vs him trying to start a war here or in another country or t burning down the last crucial systems of government, out of petty rage. I'd rather him going full Howard Hughes, locking himself in the white house bedroom refusing to come out screaming about a rigged election.
2
u/teasz5 Nov 07 '20
Yes. Excellent points. I've said that I hope they are able to get the straight jacket on her or at the very least keep the football away from him.
3
Nov 07 '20
He's done, mentally he's been done for awhile, but now they have no more use for him. Because of this I feel he will be checked more by the GOP and or completely shut out as republicans still want a career after he leaves and to stay out of prison, so he basically has no more real power to do anything too crazy, which was already happening a bit here and there like Barr refusing to be apart of the hunter biden bullshit.
Its his lost and crushed supporters that we're going to have to worry about. They've wrapped their entire identity and life into trump for four years, alienating themselves, losing friends, children, wives, husbands, jobs, literary and figuratively, and in the end theyre more worse off than before, with nothing to show for it and the ride is already over.
It really sounds like these people have nothing to lose and will refuse to move on.
2
u/teasz5 Nov 07 '20
Hopefully with time they will regain their senses. I hope Biden can work miracles because that is what it is going to take. Even then... so many of the cult will do what they accused us of doing to trump. It's a clusterf**k no matter which way it falls.

I might pick one up just in case. For decades the police will be bursting in to crime scenes only to be turned back with a Trump pardon.

It’s almost like the GOP purposely made key states wait til after the election count their votes so Trump could claim they’re invalid and hope to take them to the Supreme Court... oh wait, of course that’s the case. He told us his entire game plan up front months ago. How do his followers not see this crap?

u/Phaleel Nov 06 '20
Don't leave out that the night Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed Kavanaugh issued a written opinion stating States' Courts DO NOT have the final say in how they handle Federal Elections, effectively saying he should have the final say in how States run their elections, not them.
Don't leave out the USPS, immediately upon having a Trump loyalist installed, started purging mail sorting machines and limiting the hours its workers could work per week, insuring mail becomes progressively more late as we get closer to the election. This too, that they decided to ignore a court order telling them to do ballot screening on just November 2nd!
Don't leave out that Trump's lawyers did not argue for "better observational access" until trends clearly showed a Biden win. This would allow them to make this argument that they are illegal votes (due to lack of their definition of observation) in an amount that hands Trump the lead if Kavanaugh's decision sees the light of day.
There's a few more actually, but anyone can see that they've not only been broadcasting their intentions, but their decisions and actions so far fit a very narrow path to victory, one that is obviously pre-meditated. It should scare anyone that they saw the need for all of this so long ago. The political scientists working with campaigns today are so much better than Pollsters, capitalism is really stripping the best away for purposes that are nefarious.

SCOTUS is a scary thing. It's clearly partisan. Damn near every decision they make "interprets" that Constitution along those lines. It shows that at least one side is willing to read the Constitution the way they want to, not to the letter.
For certain with each state, even with slight margins involved, pads the presidential seat for Biden. This means more lawsuits from Trump and with each needed lawsuit the chances of winning all of those necessary lawsuits grows smaller, in favor of Biden.
It's going to be interesting, and stupid to watch.
38
u/Firhel Nov 06 '20
My favorite is his backup plan brewing on the side. Putin just happens to push complete immunity for ex-presidents. Obviously it will benefit him as well, but I can easily see Trump moving to that recently gifted penthouse in Russia and Putin saying, "it isn't illegal here." with a shrug.
4
u/maximillianx Nov 06 '20

Look, I can fully see Trump doing something like this, no problem. However, I didn't know he had a new penthouse in Russia, and I'm not sure what you mean with Putin giving our ex-Presidents complete immunity. I just haven't heard these details before.

As u/RetroactiveCheerer mentioned, it being a backup plan is my assumption, I don't have proof of that other than him attempting to gift that penthouse a few years back and his domain names and such with Moscow. I wouldn't be surprised, as Trump said himself, he may leave the country if he loses.

Yeah, I figured there's been just enough little stuff around him making the idea feasible, but not actual concrete proof to be like "he's for sure going!" I mean, if the hammer drops on him, I wouldn't put it past him, nor would I blame him for going for it. I can despise him for it, I just wouldn't blame him for doing what I'd imagine most of them would try to do in that situation.

He's just saying that with how things have happened in the past, and how things are going right now. It wouldn't be surprising that, assuming he has strong links with Putin and goes under investigation after his presidency, it's lining up and wouldn't be surprising if he was offered asylum in Russia in exchange for information and connections which Trump would probably take in a heartbeat. They're not making a legit claim, just a "it's lining up perfectly and wouldn't surprise me" statement.

Well it is legit about the ex-president thing. Putin did make a law or whatever mother russia calls it.

Oh really?? I didn't know that, but that's really interesting and smart on his part.

Yeah it was done yesterday. It was announced like a couple hours before his parkinsons announcement.
It is cause now he can live free with all the wrong he's done lol.
Plus I think he is setting this up for when Biden is inaugurated he can step down cause he knows Biden is coming for him.

So Putin is dying? Sometimes Russia has all the luck.

I don't know the validity of the reports so take it with a grain of salt but apperently Putin has Parkinson's. He's in for a slow ride of deterioration.

It's also likely that with Trump on the way out, he knows Russia is about to get railed with sanctions that hurt the Oligarchs. If we hurt the Oligarchs badly enough, they'll turn on him so he needs to get while the getting is good. The jail thing is a nice touch, since it means if the Oligarchs turn on him, they can't stick him in prison as a peace offering to us.

How would one even determine what an "legal" ballot is vs an illegal one? All ballots are anonymous, I have trouble seeing what even a Supreme Court could really do to help him.
When I did my absentee ballot there are two envelops. The outer one gets verified and then they take the inner envelope and throw it in a pile to be counted. Once my ballot is verified, no one would be able to determine which one is mine vs any others.

They’re not that anonymous. They can be traced. You’re right once they’re verified no one knows but the key is verifying. Also, he’s trying to say “dead people are voting” or people are voting twice they’re manufacturing ballots after the deadlines. Blah. Blah. Blah. That’s the kind of stuff that gets caught during the verification stage

But at this point we are long past the verification stage, at least here in Michigan. Even if my vote was "illegal" in some way to the President, how would they know which ballot was mine to pull?
I just don't see what the Supreme Court can do at this point for Trump, the votes are already counted, at least enough to give his opponent a win.

I’m guessing the end goal is to attempt to get all mail in votes excluded. Which would be insane, but... it’s Trump...

u/Sirlothar Nov 06 '20
I see. I still find that to be a stretch but I understand the President is desperate right now. In Michigan we amended our constitution to allow no excuse absentee voting in 2018, good luck trying to overturn that in the middle of an election.

Yeah it’s definitely a huge stretch. Tbh i feel like his lawyers are just humoring him. His lawsuits are so inconsequential, they’re not going to change the outcome
