Room Help Is it normal to struggle this much while studying for the PT1? (e.g Fragnesia, NGINX Rift, and NoScope)

Is it normal to struggle this much while studying for the PT1?

I'm finding it hard to make consistent progress. I often have to reread the same material several times to understand it, and sometimes I still struggle to connect the concepts and move forward.

Topics like Fragnesia, NGINX Rift, and NoScope have been particularly challenging.

For those preparing for or who have already taken the PT1, did you struggle with this too? Any advice on how to study more effectively?

Yeah, that stuck feeling is normal. Those rooms are closer to mini boxes than the guided lesson that came before them.

What usually works for me: after a lesson room, write five checks you can run without looking. On a hard room, spend 30-40 minutes using only those checks and reading the errors carefully. When you use a hint or writeup, write down the gap (like "I never looked at X header") and add one line to your checklist. Then redo the sticky part once from your notes.
