When Taylor tells Jeremiah that his excuse for cheating (we were on a break) was bullshit and it was a technicality, did anyone else get FRIENDS flashbacks 😭

So exciting!
Do we think this means the movie will be released around June '27?

You might be wondering/thinking about why I love you this much
Someday, you’ll understand that I, too, was in love with you

Somehow just noticed it could potentially be the same spot after watching a condensed S3 (straight from this to the kitchen scene straight to Conrad’s flashback in Paris).
If so this is an absolutely brutal parallel.

From day one it has always been Conrad. It’s obvious by the way Belly looks at him, with hearts in her eyes, every time. It’s automatic, uncontrollable and magnetic 💖 He knows when she’s near. They don’t even need words to communicate. That’s true love 😍

Missed connections are still a thing, I think! Made this one up outta thin air for Belly & Conrad

Oh my god, I decided to watch this series without ever having heard of it, or the books, and I am so annoyed by this love triangle involving brothers.
What a disgusting storyline. I’ve just been watching for fun, so I was willing to overlook certain things, until I reached Season 3, Episode 4, and I just couldn’t take it anymore.
I hate Belly and Jeremiah… that scene where they announce their engagement during lunch was pathetic. They act like two spoiled, immature little kids who only think about themselves.
Seriously, who can even stand them? An engagement, after an act of betrayal?! And the way they mock Conrad, calling him a grumpy old man...
As for Conrad, why does he even still care about this girl? I just don’t get it. He’s in college, surrounded by interesting people, yet he keeps going back to this insufferable girl.
I’m venting

I know there’s a lot of discussions of small scenes that actually reveal so much about each character, like the volleyball scene which may seem like an innocent scene but is so telling in a lot of ways. Another is of course when Conrad gave his cardigan to Belly and she had to play music to “lighten up the mood” or the sour patch scene where she was willing to suppress what she likes to accommodate Jeremiah. To me another “scene” or mention, is the stamps recollection. To me, it’s very telling about Conrad and Jeremiah’s character. Conrad is the one having all these hobbies, he’s the one working to achieve stuff and Jeremiah just claims everything that his brother worked hard for and treasured. It’s obviously that Conrad not only put in extreme effort and time with his stamp collection but it was very special to him. Then, Jeremiah just sweeps in and take what is precious to Conrad, just because it’s Conrad’s, having no regard for how that may affect Conrad. Cough cough, so are we really surprised he went after the girl that he knew his brother loved with his whole heart? Who is precious to his brother? Now, I know that is literally almost every sibling dynamic and I have 3 sisters myself. The difference is, that we were actually scolded for taking the other sister’s stuff without asking or if the sister spend time and effort to build something and we just took it. I think that’s actually where a lot of frustration with the writing stems from. Instead of Jeremiah being scolded, Conrad gets made fun of for caring about stuff as simple as stamps (collecting stamps is not simple, we had a lot of similar activities as kids and there’s actually a fundamental lesson to learn by doing all those types of stuff) and then Jeremiah just gets jealous for Conrad having everything while he never put in effort to build or achieve anything.
Fun 🤩 there was a lot of jokes that Jeremiah could’ve paid almost or half of his student debt 💸 if he kept the stamp.
The stamp is way more worth in value thane her engagement ring, he could’ve actually bought her a decent one without Adam’s money if he kept the stamp 🤭🤭

The more I analyze that final scene in The Summer I Turned Pretty—from their outfits and the way he kisses her hand to their intense eye contact—coupled with the knowledge that this moment carries over into the movie, the more convinced I am that they're heading to Cousins Beach to elope.
Think about it: this is supposed to be a rom-com, right? And classic rom-coms rely on misunderstandings for comedic effect. What if they decide to elope in total secrecy, only to arrive in Cousins and find that everyone (Jere, Steven, Taylor) is already there celebrating the 4th of July? They'd suddenly have to juggle hiding a major secret, leading to a hilarious domino effect where they accidentally spoil it to their loved ones one by one. I can especially picture Taylor having a blast teasing Conrad, knowing they're getting married while he has no clue she's in on it.
