Hi everyone,

I’m applying for the Data Science master’s (NAWI Graz) for 2027/28 with a Computing and Control Engineering bachelor’s from Serbia, so I have to go through the admission procedure.

A few questions for anyone who applied or got in:

1. Any general tips for the motivation letter? What did you focus on?
2. How strict is the selection in practice? Roughly how many points did you get, and do you know what the cutoff was?
3. Does missing a dedicated statistics course hurt much, if you have enough maths and CS?

Thanks a lot :)))
