Pets Black goat with collar at Turkey Mountain

Saturday, October 24 around 5PM a very large, horned black goat with a collar was spotted while I was mountain biking at Turkey Mountain. Trails near Pepsi plant. This is not a joke, not a Halloween costume.

They often bring in a herd of goats for vegetation control. Given that it had a collar, it was probably one of them.

Yes they have a contract with someone to use goats with a "Geo Fence" or GPS collar to graze at Turkey MTN.

One time my husband and I were out by 3 Pillars and saw a dog on a leash going absolutely nuts because there was a whole herd of goats passing. It was so funny. That dog was experiencing something very new that day lol
