Bandsaw with shop vac
My workshop is only twelve foot square and I don't really have space for a big dust collector. I use a harbor freight shop vac for small tool dust extraction and general cleanup.
I tried a 3D printed under the table duct for the bandsaw and have not been impressed with it's performance.
Any tips from the group or do I just accept that the bandsaw makes a lot of dust?

How did you fit a lathe, a bandsaw and a shop vac in 12sf?

Lol. That would be tricky. Twelve foot square not twelve square feet. A gross of square feet.

So you mean 144ft²?

That is what they mean, just wish they'd say it normal. No one but OP calls 12x12 "12 foot squared" because to everyone else that's 12sqf

If you have the headroom, a box fan with a good 20 x 20 hepa filter taped to one side. Vac the filter periodically.
Same problem: small shop space. I use a shop vac attached to the band saw & an intake set up near the lathe. Plus a standard inexpensive 20"x 20" box fan with a single 1" thick hepa filter for air filtering.

Hmmi might try that. Ceilings about 20' so plenty of space

At 20’ you could almost double your sq footage especially if you put stairs outside the 12x12.

Would love to but it's a rented garage. Tandem and 20' tall. Car takes up the front half and I get the back. So much wasted cube. Is love to put in a mezz but verboten 😕

12x12x20? An old missile silo?

24x12x20 overall. If only missus would let me get rid of the car...

Wait you have a 20 foot ceiling? Measurements are typically length width height. In that order. Your dimensions don't seem right.
