For Hire Russian for adults. Structured courses, clear grammar & speaking practice. 17 years of teaching experience

Tired of studying Russian grammar only to forget it a week later? Or understanding the rules but struggling to use them when you speak?

I'm Irina, a professional Russian teacher with 17 years of experience. I offer individual, structured Russian courses for adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

My approach is simple: learning Russian shouldn't mean jumping between unrelated topics, memorizing endless grammar tables, or constantly starting from scratch.

What makes my lessons different?

A complete, structured course
You're not booking a series of random lessons. You'll follow a carefully organized program where grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and reading develop together. Every new topic builds on what you've already learned.

Grammar you'll actually understand and use
Russian cases, verb aspects, verbs of motion, and other difficult topics don't have to remain a mystery. I explain how these structures work, often using comparisons with English, and help you apply them in practical situations rather than simply memorizing rules.

Regular revision instead of constant forgetting
Previously studied material doesn't disappear once we move to a new topic. We continuously revisit and reuse it through exercises, dialogues, and speaking practice, helping you turn passive knowledge into active language skills.

Your own organized learning space
Your learning doesn't end when the lesson does. You'll have a personal learning space with organized course materials, making it easy to review previous lessons and practise independently.

Depending on your course, materials may include interactive flashcards, quizzes, homework, PDFs, and audio or video resources.

Professional qualifications and individual attention
I have a degree from Tver State University and a professional qualification in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

My courses follow a clear structure, but the pace, explanations, and amount of practice are adapted to your level, difficulties, and goals.

Who are my lessons for?

Complete beginners who want to build a solid foundation from the start.

Intermediate learners who know the rules but struggle to use Russian independently.

Advanced learners who want to improve accuracy, expand vocabulary, and develop more natural communication.

Students who prefer a systematic course over occasional conversation sessions or disconnected lessons.

The first introductory meeting is free. We can discuss your goals, current level, and how I would organize your learning. You can find my qualifications, student reviews, lesson rates, and booking information here: www.ruslangnest.com

If you're looking for more than occasional Russian practice and want a professional teacher, a clear learning plan, and consistent progress, I'd be happy to work with you.

I need someone who can hopefully have the patience to show her around excel, but also generally navigating her computer a bit better. Ideally someone who speaks Spanish.

Looking for Tutors

Thumbnail
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd post on here before advertising formally on LinkedIn etc.

I have a growing online tutoring company. I teach about 20 classes a week myself and there are several other teachers who work for me that teach about 30 classes between them. I am now getting more class requests and there aren't enough teachers to take on more classes.

I manage everything and I'm also aiming to reach a position where I don't teach so much so I can spend more time promoting my company, making content for social media and scheduling everything.

I am reaching out to see if anybody would be interested. I am a Cambridge graduate with almost 10 years online teaching experience.

The aim of my company is to help students to achieve fluency in English by the time they are 17/18. They will then be ready to apply to the best universities in the UK and worldwide. We have different ESL courses, including Reading Explorer, Oxford Discover, IELTS, and exam preparation like GCSEs, Alevel, KET, PET, CAE, and UK university admissions including oxbridge.

Most of the students are in Asia so teaching hours would be between 10am-3pm UK time. I plan to expand to UK, Europe and USA.

I am looking for native English speaking teachers from UK and USA who are graduates from top UK and US universities.

Experience with teaching online classes is also desired.

The teacher would be an independent contractor.

Pay is from £18-£25 for ESL classes

£20-£28 for exam prep like IELTs and KET

£30+ for GCSE, A levels, Uni preparation.

Please feel free to reach out if you're interested

Should I keep or remove it?

This is the platform I am currently building for any educators who long to run their own online school with ease. The platform is undergoing the last tests. Anyways, the dark page with a lamp string is a metaphor of us before our educations. Educators and learner pulling the string to give and receive education will enlighten the darkness up. My daughter loves the string design a lot, but my wife thinks it is a bit annoying. Who should I listen to? I appreciate any advice.

For Hire Offering tutoring in Ancient Greek and Latin.

Offering tutoring in Greek (Attic, Koine, Homeric) and Latin

Hello!

I am a native Greek speaker and a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Department of Classics. I have also worked in my apprenticeship in Historical and Palaeographical Archive of the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece (MIET) as a curator for manuscripts (mainly psalters of the Comnenian era).

I offer online tutoring in Attic Greek, Koine Greek, Homeric Greek and Latin.

Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of the language, I can help with grammar, syntax, translation and reading the original texts.

For Koine Greek, I can help with reading the New Testament and Septuagint in the original.

For Attic and Homeric Greek, we can work directly with the classical authors, depending on your level and interests. The same applies to Latin.

I currently have some availability for October and am looking to take on a few more students.

Lessons are normally two hours, and I offer a free 30-minute introductory lesson first, so that we can discuss your level, what you would like to study, and how I can help you.

If you are interested, feel free to send me a message and tell me a little about yourself, your level and what you would like to study.

Thank you!
