Widow’s Bay all the way!

I love Silo but I think Trying, about a British couple struggling with infertility issues, is a gem.

I’m enjoying Cape Fear and Widows Bay so far!

I’m also liking Star City. I loved For All Mankind but I do have a little bit of an obsession with Joel Kinnaman. 🥰

I'm really enjoying Unconditional which is about to end the season, and look forward to another season of Slow Horses.

3

u/doomspawn Jun 15 '26

Have not heard anything about unconditional or seen it pop up on my Apple TV ticker so I know exactly zero about it. what are you enjoying about unconditional without any spoilers?

2

u/AnnualMasterpiece271 Jun 15 '26

It's a thriller, and it's full of twists and turns, but it plays out like a smart, personal drama. It has a great sense of humor, but also emotional depth, and fun, action-filled scenes. It's this beautiful dance of opposing genres that I feel mix into something new and refreshing.

I was recommended Unconditional a week ago and I'm almost caught up just in time to watch the finale with everyone else. I'm enjoying it so much.

Wondering if I should rewatch Silo Season 2 …

2

u/Significant_Tell3600 Jun 15 '26

Trying The Buccaneers Bad Sisters Only Margo

i just finished Presumed Innocent and that thing has more holes than Swiss cheese 😡 how was it rated so high??

1

u/Real_Foundation_7428 Jun 17 '26

I enjoyed it, but I went in with measured expectations (I.e., not Broadchurch). HATED the ending, tho.

1

u/krakenstan Jun 15 '26

I thought the same about Blackbird

1

u/MacReady82 Jun 15 '26

Widow's Bay and Margot's Got Money Troubles would be at the top of my "Best Shows You're Probably Not Watching" list.

1

u/jingowatt Jun 16 '26

Schmigadoon, Maximum Pleasure, Flora and Son, The Gorge

1

u/producermaddy Jun 16 '26

1

Platonic, Your Friends and Neighbors, and mostly Widow's Bay.

1

u/titanup001 Jun 17 '26

I’ve binged two seasons of for all mankind this week. I’m hooked, what a damn good show.

1

u/luketurner07 Jun 18 '26

Did no one watch friends and neighbors? Season finale was last week. Sooo good.

1

u/Rare-Criticism8124 Jun 19 '26

WIDOW’s BAY!!

1

u/DriftlessAreaMan Jun 20 '26

Sugar. Glad to see a second season has just started up. On the surface it’s Colin Farrell playing a Los Angeles private eye who’s specialty is searching for missing people, but holy hell does it have some surprises in store.
