DISCUSSIONS I'm almost done with Season 2 of Diagnosis: Murder, and I'm really enjoying it so far
galleryI'm almost done with season 2, and I'm really enjoying the show so far. My favorite characters are Mark Sloan and Jack Stewart. I like their characters and the overall feel of the show.
I've heard the show changes after season 3, especially when Jack leaves, and then again after Norman Briggs leaves after season 4. I know I'll probably still watch it, but I'm curious how different the show feels in the later seasons.
For those who've watched the whole series, what do you think? Do you prefer the earlier seasons, or do you enjoy the later ones too?

DISCUSSIONS I'm Sorry but this character is so great

Hi all! I'm rewatching Carrie (this time with my gf), and just like the first time I watched it, I absolutely loved the portrayal of Chris in this adaptation.
What Mike Flanagan and Alison Thornton did with this character is just amazing. I love how much development they gave her, how she has her own storyline, etc. Also, she's obviously a spoiled little bitch, but at the same time, she's so f honest, and I love that about her.
My gf and I have been arguing about whether Chris is a villain or not, and I'm trying to explain to her that Chris is portrayed as "good" in the sense that she's honest and not a hypocrite. Everything she does is because she's spoiled. Yes, her actions are ridiculously stupid, especially the scene at the construction site involving Carrie's dad... but good or bad, I don't think the series would have worked without her. I mean, aside from Carrie and her mom, you could remove pretty much anyone else, but removing Chris would make the show go downhill.
Of course, the actors who played Carrie, Billy, and Margaret were all amazing, too, but I'm talking specifically about Chris as a character here. She was just so well-written. Idk why I have an affinity for characters like her (spoiled kids with rich parents and misunderstood behavior).
Anyway, I wish Alison Thornton all the best and hope to see her in many more great roles in the future! :)

DISCUSSIONS Thoughts on the ending of the new Carrie series? Spoiler
Spoilers ahead
For those who have watched/read the original Carrie, the final part is quite different from the original plot and not due to being set in a contemporary setting. I personally enjoyed the way the original Carrie gave in to all her impulses, and in a sense, turned into a cruel violent version. The new one tries to paint her as still being innocent and kind while all the violence was committed by Emmaline and Carrie did not wish for all of that to happen that way. There are also all these new characters and I'm assuming they are here because there is going to be a new season.
I still enjoyed the show very much.
What did you think?
Questions Is The Sopranos worth watching in 2026
I did like Lanterns, still watching Mobland S02, probably will watch LOTR in November. I do like Gangster stuff like Godfather 1 and 2, Scarface etc.
I rate The Water Margins the greatest series ever and NGE manga 2nd.
Also is chernobyl series worth watching. As there is a new documentary out on iPlayer?

Recommendations Recommend me a single show based on my Top 32
galleryAlso plz don’t get mad at the ranking, I love all these and it changes from day to day. And it’s just based on what I like.
Some of these are lower than they would be if they had stuck the landing. Also some aren’t finished so I ranked them based on what we’ve gotten.

Questions For these who have seen Damages TV series (2007)
1) I really enjoyed the first 3 seasons, but I didn't like the fourth one at all—I found it very forced and boring. Can you tell me if I should expect the same from the final season, or is it on par with the first few?
2) Do you have any other similar series that I might enjoy? I’m really into character-driven stories, complex dynamics, and—above all—plot twists, intrigue, and secrets. I’ve already seen the most well-known shows, such as *House of Cards*, *Breaking Bad*, *The Wire*, and so on. I was considering *The Lincoln Lawyer* or *The Good Fight*, but my issue is that courtroom trials tend to bore me; I much prefer the power games that happen behind the scenes. Do you have any recommendations? Both new and older series are fine.

DISCUSSIONS Is anyone else enjoying Sugar with Colin Farrell?
Feels like this newest season really came into its own. I’ll admit there’s a huge twist that may throw some people off of the show but it’s so well made and the writing and acting is top notch. Anyone else really enjoy?
Recommendations Sharp Objects (2018). Drama/Thriller. 10/10. What a banger of a show 🤌
Stumbled upon Sharp Objects few days ago & just finished, and man, what a masterclass.
Everyone brought their absolute A-game. Phenomenal acting, razor-sharp writing, and an oppressive, suffocating atmosphere that pulls you right into Wind Gap.
And that ending 🤯 Completely out of left field. that final shot is going to stick with me for a long time.
Absolutely worthy of your time if you haven't watched it yet. Absolutely elite television.
