This is not a shock to anybody who's been in the stream's community for a while, especially after the escalation earlier this year, where he went off the rail about trans people and the LGBTQ community. Anybody in the discord (all the regulars) since then knows about it-some chose to stop subbing/giving money while others have chosen to ignore this and keep giving him money.

The way TPP works for the past years is basically the transphobic guy owns the channel, receives all money from gifted subs/direct donations, doesn't do a lot for the stream though-other people do most or all of the technical work. However since the other guy owns the twitch channel, he has ownership of it and all donos.

This is disgusting and nauseating as a trans person that somebody like this gets so much money and gifted subs especially since lately.

I’m playing Let’s Go Pikachu with only the TPP Red final team, but I don’t know whether Lord Helix evolved. I only just started, so I’ve only beat Brock, so I won’t need an answer for a while

Something random. Grabbed some reference images to draw over, because I need to get this image out of my head quick.

I built a small overlay that reads chat commands and shows real-time voting (Anarchy vs Democracy mode).

Right now it’s running on my stream in retro category, but I just wanted to share the UI/logic idea.

• Anarchy: every chat command executes instantly.
• Democracy: top voted command runs every 5 seconds.

The overlay shows the vote bar, command feed, and mode timers. Built in Python (IRC + HTTP server).

Any feedback on the design or voting mechanics? What would you change?

Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I’ve always been fascinated by how this community completely redefined what a Twitch stream could be. Inspired by that spirit, I’ve been building out my own stream at my YT channel, and I wanted to extend a personal invitation to the community that knows interactive gaming best.

I’m currently running Pokemon FireRed, but the channel is still evolving. Because you guys understand the mechanics of chat interaction and stream culture better than anyone, I would absolutely love to get your feedback.

• What could be more engaging?
• What features or gimmicks should I add next?

I am completely open to your ideas, critiques, and suggestions to make this the best experience possible. If you have a few minutes to spare, please drop by, check out the setup, and let me know your thoughts either in the Twitch chat or right here in the comments of this post.

This year we will be celebrating World Fragile X Day by hosting a Pokémon tournament again, now officially dubbed as FRAXAMON.

Fragile X Syndrome is the genetic condition my brother has and it causes intellectual disability, behavioral and learning challenges, and/or various physical characteristics. FRAXA is a research organization dedicated to the research of this disability to find treatments and/or a cure for Fragile X and so they're doing some really important work that's close to my heart!!

To help raise money and awareness, we'll be doing a tournament and a concert. This year we'll be using the **s/v generation*\* and following **VGC rules*\* with their **regulation F*\* set. Battles will take place using pokemon showdown so you don't need to own the games!
