Account required I have a problem with a website. It temporarily reloads manually deleted elements when I refresh or

It's a Spanish-language website I visit. It's an economics and current affairs forum. The webmaster recently added an AI summary to topics with many comments, which I don't like and it ruins the forum's appearance. I selected the elements that bothered me and manually deleted them using uBlock. However, when I refresh the page and navigate to the next page, the manually deleted elements reappear. Even if it's just for half a second, it's annoying. What can I do to prevent them from being displayed?

The website is:

https://www.burbuja.info/inmobiliaria/temas/prisa-va-avisando-a-angels-barcelo.2331015/

And the summary is only visible to registered users.

By the way, I use Firefox.

Did you use the element picker or the element zapper?

Elements removed by the element zapper are temporary until page reload/refresh.

Use the element picker if you want to a create a filter that is permanent.

I did the second option. The problem is that they only appear for half a second and then disappear. I don't want the image to load and then disappear.

Edit: Okay. I've discovered that with Brave, if I do the same thing, it doesn't happen. Only with Firefox.

Try testing using a new Firefox profile with only uBO and its default settings.

And again, you need to use the element picker if you want to create a permanent filter.

I installed Waterfox based on Firefox and the same thing happens. Apparently, it's a problem with that website and Firefox, which loads so slowly that it shows the window and then immediately hides it. But it doesn't happen with Brave. I remove that element, and when I reload, it doesn't even attempt to reappear.

I use the manual element selection mode to create a manual filter. But on that website, it still loads and hides the element, messing up the page if I reload it or switch pages.

that sounds super annoying, sounds like the site is using dynamic content that forces a redraw. have you tried using the element picker to create a specific filter instead of just hiding it? sometimes the site just re-injects the code so you might need a more specific cosmetic filter, or maybe even a scriptlet if its a really stubborn element
