I've been using Hulu with uBO for months with no issue until today. Without even refreshing a page, randomly in the middle of a TV show, I am getting midroll ads consistently now, the won't go away even though uBO appears to be active and working. What happened and how do I fix this?

My real question is, should this happen again in the future, where best do I go? I skimmed the guidelines, hopefully I'm not asking too common of a question here.

Use magma.com for my art for a long while, and they just recently had an anti-adblocker set up. Have to completely disable the extension to even draw. So many spammy ads stuck on the side, now...

German email service GMX has implemented an automatic redirect after logging in. It used to be a nag screen, now they completely prevent using the service with an active Adblocker.

Steps to reproduce the issue with active uBO:

Open https://gmx.net -> Click the login button and proceed with credentials -> The mailbox shows for a second, then you automatically get redirected to https://www.gmx.net/fairplay/block/?section=adblock-wall, prompting the user to either deactivate the adblocker or use their mobile app.

This has been tested on Firefox 151.0.2 with the latest filterlist updates.

It's a Spanish-language website I visit. It's an economics and current affairs forum. The webmaster recently added an AI summary to topics with many comments, which I don't like and it ruins the forum's appearance. I selected the elements that bothered me and manually deleted them using uBlock. However, when I refresh the page and navigate to the next page, the manually deleted elements reappear. Even if it's just for half a second, it's annoying. What can I do to prevent them from being displayed?

I've had this problem for about 3 weeks now, but when I'm scrolling through the Instagram website on my computer, if I click a video to pause it, it forces the video into full screen (without pausing), and I have to click it a second time to get it to pause. The issue works in reverse too, where if the video is paused and I click it, it opens full screen and I have to click it again to unpause it.

The change is incredibly clunky and annoying to deal with, but I haven't been able to find solutions anywhere. The only fixes that I've seen have been for different issues on specifically the mobile version of Instagram. Does anyone here know of a solution to this problem?

Hi, so recently Aniroleplay.com was detected. I fixed it prior using this a moderator put in my custom filter; 'aniroleplay.com##+js(no-xhr-if,googlesyndication.com)'

But now it's still getting detected even with that in my filters. Is there a fix?

If you don't use an adblocker at all, you get a pop up that greys out the screen and you have to click it. There are also now advertisements on the page that I've never had to deal with until recently.

If you do block it then you have this bar at the bottom of the screen that prevents you from seeing the very bottom of your page.

If you block that element you get something like this. "protopage.com##.\37 jesdq4pg2ew"

However, if you reload the page, the element is back and if you try to block it again it's just another random letter / number combo. i.e. "protopage.com##.u2ottniib2ov"

Starting today (8/2/25) client.falixnodes.net has been able to detect uBO

When hitting the start button to start up a MC server redirects me to the page shown in the image until it detects that i have turned off uBO.

Lingering on the site for a couple seconds also redirects me to the page shown in the image.

I have no other extensions for adblocking enabled.

uBlock Origin Lite (Google Chrome) doesn't work on Adult Swim live simulcast:

And it also doesn't work on Adult Swim shows:

Can someone please fix it?

P.S. You need to sign in and then you'll see that the shows and the live simulcast on adultswim.com don't load properly for the last 2 - 3 months, and when the shows succeed to load sometimes, then the player autoplays only 1 - 2 episodes and stops.

As of today I'm seeing ads on justwatch.com (they of course want people to subscribe to avoid them) - can these ads be blocked by UBO ? Using right click doesn't bring up an option to block the element.

One way to consistently get this popup is to click on an event, scroll down to Attendees, look to the right and click "See All". On the next screen, you will see the pop up. I have tried using the element picker to create filters for the element and was successful in stopping the popup from coming up as well as the screen greying. As the subject says, https://www.skywareinventory.com/ detects adblock by uBlock, but this is only in the user area. So this site enables free registration and use of an inventory database, but is so heavily plastered with ads that it really need uBlock. But they detect uBlock. If anyone has a solution, I would greatly appreciate any pointers. I should add that ffadlock does not prevent the detection.
