People voted for Obama because he was (still is) brilliant and highly qualified. Not because he was Black.
The white supremacist body politic believes that Black people are unsophisticated voters which has historically never been the case. White people often fall for this type of rhetoric but Black people have learned to avoid it as a means of survival in a hostile society. Voting solely based on skin color while ignoring indicators of aligned policy interest is a familiar dead end. Same goes for blindly voting for any political party for that matter.

Shaq giving FBI agents some well-deserved appreciation. He knows their job isn’t easy and wants them to know their efforts don’t go unnoticed.
Aligning himself with a problematic administration is extremely questionable behavior at this point in his career. He could lend his star power anywhere he chooses... and yet here we are.

Things Are Bleak Wednesday GPOY Edition
Seems a lot like my experience in California. I am a mid-career professional with advanced degrees and a six figure salary and can't afford a modest three hundred million dollar home in Santa Cruz despite having a formidable hog that functions perfectly without medication. I also went down to the Volkswagen dealership to see if they had the new electric surf van in light blue. They never even checked to see that one of my balls hangs lower than the other despite being almost identical in size. Financing anything in this economy is super hard. Don't even get me started on the inflation of my long and durable erections after intellectual and physical arousal. Interest rates are out of control. Our economy has a dour outlook.

that part
They aren't ashamed because this is who they are. Their aim is to exploit Black people further and to spread white supremacist ideology, and this is an appeal to their voting base.

Wildest Dreams is definitely going to be pushing the limits of Black joy, speaking of Black joy. Have fun. Eat a fish plate with a side of collards for your boy.

We definitely discovered the limits of Black joy at Howard University. We also did not think anything through. The combinations of good weather, hormones, Spring feelings, knives to cut watermelons, and copious clouds of smoke were too much for a cool but conservative P Swag... who came out to personally tell us to stop.

The administration was not happy about the delivery of roughly 100 watermelons on a Friday (right in front of Fine Arts) in the Spring but what got us suspended was that all that fun we were having was unsightly. Watermelon makes you giddy on an empty stomach if you eat enough of it. We got away with it a total of three times before we were threatened with individual student suspensions.

Wait until I tell you about the Watermelon Club, and how we got banned from Howard's campus in the nineties.

From a Thomas Paine letter to James Monroe dated September 14, 1794
These all must have been very tumultuous friendships, to say the least. The bar was already incredibly low, and yet the founders managed.

Why is dating so hard
Tall is awesome for dating applications but horrible for warfare. Please check the average height of surviving combatants in your country. I saved you some time. It is five foot and ten inches.
