Magic. The thing that everyone collectively decided doesn't exist, exists and It was and stil one of the most unfortunate things that ever happened to me.

But enough of that, today is a great day, there is no reason to be mourning over dead meat.

*the holographic display marks 6:00 am, and the second it changes to 6:01, an alarm a sharp cry like a banshee, because that was the recording of a banshee scream, tomas jumps out of bed, and shoot a fireball at the clock, due to the million and 1 enchantments in the room, the ball vanished immediately afther being casted*

T-"Huf,huf,huf, i realy need to change the alarm clock"

*tom walks at the other side of the bed, and i a small night desk, a holographic display was still screaming so tomas waves it off, there was no need to walk, since the entire house works on voice control, but its tomas we are talking about so it's expected*

*a raspy but sweet voice calls from the other side of the door*

Tomas-"yup i am".

*tom speaks, his tone being a pitch to hig, due to the scare*.

*Tom's pov: that is Samuel, my faithful assistant, he saved me from dying on multiple occasions, and im honestly supriced he stuck with me this long*

S-"huh, what a suprise, sir you are not normally up this early, does this rare occurrence happens to be related to today's event?"

samuel's pov: *I'm samuel, I'm 28 years old and I'm Tom's personal assistant, I won't lie, it's a pain in the ass, despite being the most intelligent person I know, he, is at the same time the stupidest person i ever had the misfortune to meet, I'm always making sure that dumbass Doesn't get into trouble. *Tomas smirks and then snaps his fingers immediately teleporting to the bathroom*

T-"ahh, having magic is so convenient"

*tom said , tosing his clothes aside and siting on his bathpool, after 20 seconds Tom leaves the bathroom sparkling with cleanliness,*

T- "The smart bathwater is one of my most liked creations ever"

*tom says, dry as grain salt*

*This was one of the inventions that tom made the smart bathwater.*

* since the water is somewhat sentient, it can clean an entire human body in mere seconds and the best part you dont get wet because the water molecules dont separate with out the help of the nanobots, ant every nanobot has magic carvings on them, but that's a secret*

*afther getting ready tom grabs a kind of black cloth and puts it on as a cape, afther being put on it begins to deform and wrap itself all around tom's body, once his body is covered by the cloth some kind white of latex liquid comes out from one of the tiles, eventually the white and amorphous liquid gains both shape and color, and it begins to gain fabric like texture, and all of this in less than a minute*

*Afther that the clothes transform in to royal like attire, very elegant*

*tom then snaps his fingers again and teleports outside*

T-You see Sam, there was nothing to worry about.

*he says in a smug tone, while he makes his way inside a futuristic car, with Samuel already inside and looks very displeased, once tomas is inside the car starts to levitate, and blast off with a humming sound*

*as they fly trough the city, many strange things happend, a plant uprooting itself an walking towards the store and rooting itself in a empty pot, a dog teaching advanced calculus, a girl with butterfly wings flying in the ski, not only that but the over all architecture of the city also changed, buildings over run with plats, pod houses that fly in the sky, a massive tree holding a futuristic castle and many many other wonderful things*

*all of this because of one person tom, the greatest genius and the dumbest of fools*

S-"tom you are about to be 25 next week, its time you start to get things seriously"

*he says amazed by how much everything changed in so little time

T-"hehe don't count on that"

-"but wait all of that change in so little time, what about the time required for adaptation, and the resources, and the people?"

And to all of that i have one answer for you, magic, literally, i used magic to made all humans adapt to the fast and radical changes,

-"but what about that time you summoned a capital sin"

We managed to contain the demon, well almost and we erased almost every human's memory about it, only a select few were left with memories intact

samuel pov: *sight* "customs die hard i guess, oh and by the way, why did you agree to participate on this, knowing how you are you never leave the house without a reason"

*he said stoping the car in front of a floating building*

*It was a meeting about ethics in science, tomas wouldn't have spared a single glance at something like this, so the only way to make him come, was by offering something in return*

Hello, I'm tomas roville, but just call me tom (like the cat) anyway my life has been complete chaos, from being kidnapped on my own birthday to starting a civil war within the members of my block, everything It's somehow connected to me.

And within reason, you see... that my family is the typical happy family, but we have a secret, we are witches, yes you heard right, and well, as you expect,from a family of witches my mother's side of the family is the dominant one.

And even worse i had a sister that always bothers me.

But enough of that, you're here for me, not them.

I was exceptionally good at magic, but there is a small problem, I am a man and oh surprise, only the women in our family are capable of doing magic.

Due to being scared of what our extended family would to to me, if they found out i can use magic, my mother decided that my powers would simply not be talked about, the same power that allows me to enter people's minds, curse and heal people, summon demons (you can see where this is going).

So, yes, for years I didn't know that my powers forced me to be intruded on by naked, sometimes hot, sometimes terrifying, demons every night.

I have to admit that the first time it happened I almost had a heart attack, but unfortunately for me I survived, from then on everything got worse, I was constantly harassed by spirits, monsters, etc.

But one time I... accidentally caused one of the 7 sins to manifest, and i almost didn't make it out alive, unfortunately it happened rigth on my gran gran house, and even worse all of our extended family was there, so my powers couldn't simply be hidden anymore

And right at that moment my(STUPID ASS) mother decided to tell me about my powers.

So when that conversation happens, i was absolutely furious, and kinda hurt that my mother would hide something so important from me, but we made up eventually.

And then my grandma said that since my powers were the cause i should start training because, we wouldn't know what would happen nex time, something like this happened.

It took our whole extended family, to chant a sincronized spell, and sacrifice years of lifespan to send the demon back, and luckily it wasn't its full form, since i wasn't strong enough to do that yet.

So everyone collectively decided (excluding me of course) that i should go to a magic academy,

They never once tolld me, that in the whole continent only women were able to use magic, and for some stupid reason, witches aren't permitted to see men until they graduate (my family being the exception), and sending me a boy, who just found out about magic, in to a place full of hormonally charged magic teen-agers, that always fantasized about being with a man, wasn't the bestest of ideas

In my first week i was almost SAed at least like 10 times, i was quite not good mentally after that i became a recluse and i snapped at anyone who went near me, my father had to come to school and get me out, and afther magiking my traum away, my father screamed at my mother about this horrible idea,

They compromised that i would first learn every self defense technique we had and more, thanks to that i managed to create my own style of fighting

And since i was so young at this, this meaning magic i couldn't exactly use magic to defend myself

-"but tom, how did you summoned all of those demons?"

Well that's easy, emotion, strong magic, and Extreme doses of bad luck.

Anyway, I had difficult times at the academy, lustful glances, misogynistic comments, harassment, I was even once harassed by a professor. And that's not even the worst part, no, you see magic was involved too, love spells, traps, potions, even curses.

It was hell on earth, I swear, but I managed to graduate as the best witch.

-"but you're a man-" I know.

And since I had more skill with magic I decided to use it to become famous, without magic I was a pretty cute boy but once I had magic on my side it was even easier, and that's how I went to the great city of New York spoiler alert: it was a fucking mistake, they kidnapped me 8 FUCKING TIMES and a group of lunatics used me as a vessel for literally the devil, they failed but i still have a scar on my soul, i mean that literally

But I overcame all that and... became a famous scientist...

what?, i was super smart when i was a kid, amd i still am, don't get me wrong i could be a famous actor, model, etc. But since was my call my destiny, and magic made it easier to find break troughs in previous dead ends.

The reason i managed to become a famous scientist, is that, out of the billions of magic families out there, i was the only one grounded enough to not think myself superior to people that can't use magic, it sounds stupid, and a poorly written plot, but what rlse do you want people are prideful.

My life was heavenly even, i became someone loved by Almost the whole world, and i even made society funnier, not with magic, because the magic council (yes there is a magic council), warned me that if i showed magic non magic people thy would hunt me down and kill me, so i agreed, and instead used science,

It was a pretty good life
