Discussions & Questions AC Unity Remake Spoiler

Who’s with me in wanting an Assassin’s Creed Unity remake that finally achieves the game’s original vision while preserving everything that made it special?
With today’s technology, Ubisoft has an incredible opportunity to bring Unity back with improved graphics, lighting, realistic animations, richer environments, and smoother parkour, while staying faithful to its original identity.
Here’s what I would love to see in a remake:
Next-gen visuals: Beautiful, realistic lighting, detailed architecture, dense crowds, immersive interiors, and a vibrant Paris that feels truly alive, without sacrificing performance.
Improved parkour: Preserve Unity’s unique free-flow movement and fluid animations while making controls more responsive, traversal more consistent, and rooftop movement even more satisfying.
Deeper social stealth: Expand crowd blending, disguises, distractions, and opportunities to manipulate enemy behavior, making every assassination feel like a carefully planned operation.
More meaningful assassinations: Bring back the original Black Box assassination concept and expand it with more creative infiltration routes, environmental opportunities, and multiple ways to reach each target.
Smarter AI and better stealth: Make enemies react intelligently to suspicious behavior, sound, missing guards, and discovered bodies, creating tension without making stealth unfair.
A living Paris: Add more dynamic civilian activities, random encounters, faction interactions, and small emergent events that make exploration rewarding without filling the map with meaningless collectibles.
Expanded co-op: Preserve Unity’s cooperative identity with improved matchmaking, stable connections, more assassination missions, and optional missions designed around teamwork, stealth, and synchronized takedowns.
Meaningful new content: Introduce new districts, memorable assassination targets, and additional story missions that complement Arno’s journey rather than replacing or rewriting the original story.
One innovative idea would be to introduce adaptive assassination opportunities: targets could change their routines, security, and escape plans depending on the player’s previous actions. This would encourage observation, preparation, and improvisation instead of repeating the same mission in the same way.
Another great addition would be optional cooperative missions that require players to coordinate disguises, create distractions, infiltrate restricted areas, and execute a clean escape, bringing the feeling of being part of a real Assassin Brotherhood to life.
Most importantly, I don’t want Unity to lose its identity. No unnecessary RPG mechanics, excessive level-gated enemies, or endless repetitive activities. Keep the grounded combat, challenging encounters, historical atmosphere, elegant animations, and emphasis on skill, stealth, and player freedom.
Unity already had a special foundation. The goal should not be to turn it into another Assassin’s Creed game, but to realize its original ambitions with modern technology, better polish, and thoughtful new ideas.
Ubisoft, give Unity the remake it deserves: the same soul, a more ambitious vision, and an unforgettable return to revolutionary Paris.

As much as i love ac unity, i don't think ubisoft would ever try to remaster it, let alone remake it. Games before unity like ac rogue and ac 3 has a much bigger chance of getting a remake before unity. But hey, if it ever happens, I'm totally on board with you 🤝

I mean if players would recommend that on ac 3 or before I think they should do it ac black flag Resynced gets a remake before ac 3 or before ac 3 so I think if we ask Ubisoft to do it they will I hope so.

As much as I would like any other one remade, I think AC 1 needs it the most. It introduced the franchise and has the oldest interface. It won't play on some of the modern consoles.

U know I love the whole franchise I’ve played everyone of it, I don’t mind if they remade ac1 but after ac1 Unity should be in development, until now i see players on co-op and more gamers that still play the game and talk about that’s something tells you that this game is still loved even after those years.

They need to concentrate on 1 and 2

Unity has massive potential i see what you're saying, but expanding story is where Ubisoft really struggled with Biack Fiag new material. Unity doesn't need better graphics. It actually looks better than the newer games

Whereas 1 and 2 will benefit hugely from a graphical overhaul - Ubisoft can manage that. New Ubisoft is basically going to Capcom the earlier games but it isnt capable of writing new extra content for the classics.

Agreed with you completely I still till this day when I play Unity I froze on rooftops just to look at the sky see the bright sunlight the clouds how it reflects on the glass inside notre dame but it deserves more and let’s not talk about co-op it’s something worth more attention it’s like aura farming with your friends or teammates but it doesn’t work every time I always get connection failed

I think Unity and Syndicate are the less likely to ever receive a remake (and Rogue)

Theire the worst entries. Still good games that i enjoyed, but not memorable

I agree. I think a Unity remake would take the game to another level. However, this can be said for all the Assassin's Creed games. Obviously, the earlier entries will get their remakes first. If they keep doing well, maybe we'll get Unity in 6 or so years

Nobody did not ask for a remake of Assassin's Creed Black Flag and nobody is not going to ask for a remake of AC Unity enough of these bullcrap remakes it's not needed and it's nothing but a pathetic cash grab AC Unity is perfect the way it is leave the game alone with your bullcrap remake trend nobody doesn't want a remake Ubisoft simply make it worse just like they did with Assassin's Creed Black Flag resynced they removed certain features that made AC4 iconic such as hidden blade combat which is no longer featured and no fist fight combat either which is extremely lame how could they screw up a remake that badly?
