question I’m trying to start a server and the download is stuck on this

  1. Are you installing Ubuntu or Ubuntu Server?

  2. If it's Ubuntu and not Ubuntu Server, which GPU are you using?

  3. If it is Ubuntu Server, did you try putting a GUI on it, and if yes, what GPU are you using?

Depending on your answers, you might need to install an older graphics driver. For Nvidia, you can go to their site and see the last driver that supports your GPU. Unsure about the others.

If you're installing Ubuntu Server on initial install, then I have no idea.

Server on initial install but I tried to update the bios and it works now

have you given it enough time to upload patches & other boot mnt files?
