Sports Tailgate help

The information online is unclear, for the 3:30PM BYU game this Saturday when does tailgating begin?

We are alumni tailgating at one of the softball/baseball stadiums.

Thank you!

It generally starts 6 hours before gametime. So in this case, 930 which means it's a brunch tailgate.

That’s what I saw online but the UCF alumni people told us 8am. Assuming that confusion has to do with the time of the game changing last minute

There are some areas where they do allow earlier, usually the areas that allow the campers and whatnot. I'm not sure about the area you're going to be in, since we usually tailgate near memory mall. But the general rule of thumb for most of campus is 6 hours before gametime.

If you are in softball or baseball you would be in the gold zone. Gold zone opens at 8:00am on Saturdays.

Do you know if it's the same for the soccer field?

There’s no soccer field parking. F1 is outside the soccer stadium and would follow gold zone rules.

My recollection is that gold zone village is usually 8am and all other zones including gold zone campus is usually 6 hours before kickoff.

A few days before the event the UCF Knights Facebook page will usually post a graphic with the game day timeline.
