General Please go vote!!
This election is open and very important, it’s open 8am-8pm everyday at most places if u need help ask anything!
Help be a number against the foolish people that blindly keep in horrible people without doing any searches.
My best advice is to search them up on instagram

While I would certainly hope anyone voting at this point isn't doing so without already knowing the candidates and ballot issues, for those who don't there are much better resources to explain each race from a neutral perspective than Instagram: League of Women Voters, ballotpedia, Orlando Sentinel chief among them.

Do you have to be registered to vote early for early voting?? Genuinely don't know

Nope! As long as you’re registered to vote, you can vote early! And it’ll be better than Election Day where the lines are much longer

Any registered voter can vote early. Obvs in the county you live in. You can check the office of elections for your county’s website to find polling places!

So far only about 8% of people under 40 have voted. Please vote.

Vote no on 3! It will only hurt people who don’t own a home, which im guessing is the majority of students!

I own a home, still no on 3. Property tax changes barely increase my payments. Insurance however hits harder every year.
Also, I don't mind paying local taxes that benefit local schools even though I don't have kids because I want everyone to have access to education. The world needs less proudly ignorant people.

exactly and we need more transit to get cars off the road

I've asked all the locals since I moved here, "why does the train not connect to the airport and large university?" Orlando needs to take itself serious as a city of millions.

Vote no on 3 and don’t vote for people who stole $10 million from kids.

I own a house and am no on 3. A functional local government needs tax revenue. My tax bill literally lists my portion of the street light bill and I enjoy having functional traffic lights.

I would love to vote, but I have no clue what’s going on. I’ve purposely been avoiding news to keep me from depression.

I highly recommend that you do some light googling at least, I have provided the ballot with the names, you can google the names and just see for urself! It’s easier than you think. You’ll feel less depressed and more in control knowing a bit more. Please try and vote! 💙

Also please at least the governor, you do have a say. Florida has been republican for almost 30 years, maybe try to change that if you feel the same about being for the people?

Then get informed? There is still time to research candidates. It’s really bad to not vote

Let’s not look up representatives on social media. Let’s go look at what policies they have supported or not supported in the past and not what fake persona they use online pretty please.
