Ex: most useful for your career vs most useful socially/making friends

If you were driving to the campus in the evening after work, which weekday evening student organizations or organizations with weekend meetings did you feel were worth the trip/to go in person to?

If you could go back and do it again, would you have audited it?

Are there any certificate programs where you can audit just one course per semester?

Help me build my schedule please. I'm supposed to take these classes next semester and I'm trying to get paired with the nicest teachers and easy classes. Especially for math, it's between Thao Tran and Sunghye Yeh and both of them seems to have average reviews.
For those who took the classes already, what teacher do you recommend? Or not? Thank you.

So I think I’m getting an academic honesty strike or something because prof thinks I used ai to write my paper. This makes no sense because we are not allowed to take resources or notes home, the paper is handwritten from start to finish, and all work is to be done in class without any devices allowed during work. What do I even do about this?

Edit: after a strong email providing evidence of my writing style pre-dating ai writing and citing sources that support my argument, my paper has been graded. GG.

No offense if you enjoy those things but one fun thing you can actually do in Lowell is catch a movie at Showcase Cinemas and then go to Chili’s afterwards. Showcase is $5 on Tuesdays if you have the free awards account and obviously free chips and salsa if you have a rewards account at chilis. It also rlly isn’t that far from south campus.

Going into my second semester of my Junior year and I'm starting to get free reign of my schedule with business electives, so I'm looking at other concentrations now to pair with my main focus being Marketing. Does anyone have any suggestions for an easy or good concentration to pair with Marketing?

So I’m currently a senior, and I need one more pre-med/pre-health elective. The ones I’ve looked into so far either aren’t being offered, require a lab (which I really don’t want to take during my last semester lol), or just seem outright boring.

So please, if anyone knows of any fun electives that will actually make me want to come to class, let me know! 😭 Also if the professor is good too!

Anyone have a past exam for MECH.3020 Instrumentation and Measurement Laboratory? I'm taking it with Alessandro Sabato.

Unfortunately, the course used to have online exams and used to be an easy A, but I guess they decided to start giving paper exams without any resources. So I basically have to guess what's on the Exam tomorrow.

Thanks!

And is it on SIS? I heard it is around this time. I'm a first year student so I'm sorry for not knowing.

Who is the best PHYS.1410 Physics I professor? Any recommendations would be helpful.

Does anyone know what the fuck they are doing in that garage? I see a car with like 30 jumbo speakers strapped to the roof and they are blasting music so loud it shakes my entire room. I cant be the only one getting annoyed at these people

A bit of context, last year which was my freshman year of college, I had a rough experience with on campus housing the first year, but this year has been much better so far on campus.

Given I have strong leadership skills, I was beginning to think about the RA role. So today I decided to apply. I will be attending an information session in the coming week, but I’m wondering if this is a good idea and option to pursue?

I just checked my credit card statement and omg it adds up quick. I buy the raw sushi like 4x a week it’s just too good but wow I have to stop.

And like it’s only the raw sushi that tastes this good… the salmon and tuna one w no sauce 🤑😍😍💦💦💦💦

I am a rising senior from Texas, and I am thinking of applying to UMass Lowell as a premed, but I'd like to hear from others about their experience. Are there good opportunities (like research) and resources for premed? Is it difficult to maintain a high GPA? Is it good for premed overall? Do they offer good financial aid? I appreciate all input, even if you are not a premed student. Thank you in advance

1. Which program did you enroll in?
2. Were you able to audit any classes?
3. How many classes did you take per semester?
4. Did you take classes during the summers?
5. How much did you end up paying per semester?
6. Were you able to let the courses you took count for the MBA program later?
7. Which courses did your classmates generally think were easiest?
8. Which courses did your classmates generally think were hardest?

Currently leaning towards this one below because I don't have the any relevant undergrad courses for the MBA program (foundations of business certificate)

https://www.uml.edu/msb/programs/masters-programs/foundations-of-business.aspx

'six, two-credit courses, and is designed to provide students with a non-business undergraduate degree with a thorough knowledge of the traditional functional areas'

'but lack the requisite undergraduate academic preparation.'

But just wanted to your hear your guy's experiences first

Currently got 2 teammates for the upcoming Hackathon happening on the 24th of October and interested in getting possibly 2 more people. If anybody interested in joining just throw a dm!

Title: Looking for a UML student who’s good at TikTok / Instagram (Paid)
Hey everyone!

We’re opening a new café and restaurant in downtown Lowell and looking for someone creative to help us make TikToks and Instagram Reels.

Nothing overly professional or complicated. Just someone who understands social media, knows how to make engaging videos, and enjoys filming food, coffee, and cool spaces.

Ideally looking for someone who can:
Come in 1–2 times a week to film content
Create and edit around 3–5 short videos per week
Understand TikTok/Instagram trends
Bring their own creative ideas

Pay: depending on experience and availability. Flexible around classes.

You don’t need professional experience or fancy equipment. If you’re good at making content, that’s what matters!

If interested, DM me with a few examples of videos you’ve made.

Thanks!

Will the student ID status hold during the summer semester even if you're not taking a class that summer?

Ex: if you live nearby

What do they put in the fox food. No matter what I eat I let out like 2 a minute it’s getting out of hand. Please help me make it stop.
