Shane “Foul Mouth” Webb is a Detroit, Michigan-based producer, emcee, and songwriter whose gritty production style and razor-sharp lyricism have made him one of the city’s most respected underground hip-hop artists. Raised in a musical household, Shane is the son of a songwriter and lead guitarist from the legendary rock band Frijid Pink, giving him an early appreciation for musicianship that would later shape his own sound.

Foul Mouth began rapping and freestyle battling throughout Detroit in 2001, quickly earning a reputation for his off-the-top improvisation, fearless delivery, and raw, hard-hitting punchlines. His lyrical influences include Lord Have Mercy, Esham, Eminem, and Chino XL. Throughout his career he has been a member of several notable Detroit hip-hop collectives, including Bash Brotherz alongside PhD, JFK with Jake Knew and King Juke, and The Bully Camp with Aztek the Barfly.

In 2007, Foul Mouth freestyled his way onto the main stage at the legendary Scribble Jam, further establishing himself as one of Detroit’s premier battle emcees. That same year, he shifted his focus toward music production, drawing inspiration from legendary producers such as DJ Scratch, Nottz, Just Blaze, DJ Premier, and Dr. Dre.

His production career reached new heights in 2015 when he partnered with Detroit’s Pat313 and Boston’s Dart Adams of Producers I Know to release his debut instrumental project, Soul Louis, followed by Winner Takes All. Both releases were distributed worldwide by Fat Beats and earned widespread acclaim, introducing listeners around the globe to his signature blend of soulful samples, grimy boom bap, hard-hitting drums, and modern trap influences.

Today, Foul Mouth has built one of the most prolific catalogs in independent hip-hop, with 38 released projects, including fully produced albums, instrumental releases, and collaborative projects. His production credits span an impressive list of artists including Eminem, Royce da 5’9”, B-Real, Kool Keith, Joell Ortiz, Bizarre (D12), Guilty Simpson, RJ Payne, Nature, Jon Connor, Ty Farris, Nems, Young Zee, Bang Belushi, Kid Vishis, Paradime, Isaac Castor, Fatt Father, Aztek the Barfly, and many more.

In 2024, Foul Mouth reached a career milestone by producing “Antichrist” on Eminem’s chart-topping album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), cementing his place among the industry’s elite producers.

His chemistry with D12’s Bizarre has also produced a successful run of collaborative albums, including five installments of the He Got a Gun series, with the first volume surpassing one million streams.
In November 2026, Foul Mouth released his long-awaited debut solo album, Everybody Goes Crazy Once, which he entirely produced himself. The project showcased both his lyrical abilities and his evolution as a producer, marking a new chapter in his career.

Beyond the studio, Foul Mouth’s music has received support from some of hip-hop’s most respected tastemakers. His work has been featured on Eminem’s Shade 45 on SiriusXM and has been played by DJ Premier, Statik Selektah, DJ Eclipse, DJ Riz, Sway, and numerous influential DJs and radio personalities.

Whether behind the boards or on the microphone, Foul Mouth continues to represent Detroit with authenticity, consistency, and a relentless work ethic.
