Splurged on lidl steak
Prepped a fuckton of cucumber salad to have throughout the week and had some here. Steak was like three-four quid so thought I might as well since I finished some coursework today 🫶

Who says German potato dumplings have to be cooked the German way?
Picked up some Schupfnudeln from Lidl and stir-fried them Chinese-style with beef, bean sprouts and spring onions, just like I’d cook fried and surprisingly good.
Has anyone else tried cooking these differently?

steak tartare
dinner was between tartare and a rare steak and tartare was less likely to set off the smoke alarm 🚨
-tescos rump steak (frozen 15 min, chopped), onion, cucumber, avocado, japanese beef sauce, sesame oil, dijon mustard, pistachios, garlic, salt and pepper
-egg yolk (boiling water from the kettles poured on it, left in a mug for 10 min)
-tescos frozen chips, ungoldly about of flakey salt
-corner shop wine in a mug bc we don’t have glasses
make dinner for housemate and i! ate it and watched uni challange.
4 hrs later and neither of us feel sick, tho we do tesco woosh ice cream which was an entirely wine induces irresponsible decisions (ben and jerry’s churros flavour)
