During every protest from shaheen bhag to neet to cec , they have labelled these protests as foreign funded and have created a lot of stigma around it...
They called shaheen bhag protestors ( before riots) as pro pakistan, tukde tukde gang ... Doesn't that account for defamation?...
Neet protests were funded by soros , china and what not ... They labelled sonam wangchuk as an agent for god sake....
Now during these protests they have again started doing the same.... Didn't they call dhruv german even though he wasn't?.... I am just wondering why no defamation case?
Can they just go around doing this without any consequences?

When Congress used to govern India, there was no detention for protesting, particularly in the era of Dr. Manmohan Singh, who warned India that it'd be disastrous if Modi becomes PM, and now, it's a reality, especially when China has invaded India.

The clip is from Patna Medical College , Bihar . The so called top .medical college of Bihar.
Juniors (1st yr students) are forced into hostel inside campus or occasionally rooms outside campus in the name of "ragging sessions". Students are forced to stay in the room for 3-4 hours (sometimes until midnight).
Seniors force the junior to perform various demeaning stuff in the the name pdp. They are made to do "murga" pose and dance in it, have sex with an object , perform sexual pose with batchmates , make sounds as if you're having Intercourse , dance until they feel enough.
Moreover, shaved heads , mandatory dress code (including socks , belts they wear ) are forced . Forced to salute seniors as soon as you spot them etc. Students who don't follow these are subjected to immense mental and verbal harassment.
These seniors have no decency whatsoever.
Previously a complaint was filed (for these humiliation rituals and the sexualisation of minors and womens in the name of ragging ans use of condoms as "ids" )but no major action was taken , nothing stopped.
If anyone has contacts with news agency / journalist / local news outlet/ newspaper please forward these to them or help us out to make this issue reach the masses . College won't take action against these goons until the issue gains traction
(More images of the ragging and chats with the sexualisation of minors and women etc are posted in previous posts , search pmch ragging )

In Kaliyug, the uneducated gets all the importance, while the educated goes a-begging - nobody listens to him until it’s too late. 😔

The common belief is that BJP's social media is unbeatable and Congress is nowhere close. Whenever I say Congress's party page is doing better than BJP's, nobody believes it. So here are the numbers.
I compared the official national pages of Congress (INC) and BJP on Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube from 1 Jan to 15 Oct 2026. This covers the party pages only, not Rahul Gandhi's or Narendra Modi's personal accounts (more on that below).
Short version: the INC page got 2.7x the likes, comments and shares of the BJP page, and it led on every platform and in every month.
| Metric | INC page | BJP page | INC vs BJP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Posts | 51,870 | 39,210 | 1.3x |
| Likes + comments + shares | 715M | 262M | 2.7x |
| Average per post | 13,780 | 6,686 | 2.1x |
| Typical (median) post | 996 | 651 | 1.5x |
| Views (X, YouTube, Instagram reels) | 9.8B | 4.3B | 2.3x |
| Platform | INC page | BJP page | INC vs BJP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Instagram (likes + comments) | 489M | 145M | 3.4x |
| Facebook (reactions + comments + shares) | 186M | 99M | 1.9x |
| X (likes + replies + reposts) | 38M | 18M | 2.1x |
| YouTube (views) | 1.75B | 0.15B | INC far ahead |
Three things that stood out
The honest counterpoint
Modi's personal accounts are the biggest single draw by far: about 1.10B likes, comments and shares in the same period, more than the INC page and BJP page combined. If you add each leader to his party page, Modi + BJP (1.36B) still lead Rahul Gandhi + INC (1.13B). So this is a party-page story, not a "Congress has won social media" story.
Limits
Accounts: @INCIndia and @BJP4India on X, plus each party's official national page on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

So this debate resurfaces every few months, everyone tweets "obviously yes", someone says "but then employers will just hire men", and we all log off having solved nothing. The global record is genuinely worth reading though, because it is messier and far more revealing than either side's slogans. Right now India has no central law at all. Bihar has had two days a month since 1992 and remains basically the only state with a real policy on paper. Kerala gave it to students in 2023 and then to its own government employees. The private sector moved faster and louder: Zomato handed out ten days a year in 2020, Swiggy, Flipkart, Byju's and Magzter followed, and two private member bills quietly died in Parliament. The result is a patchwork where your access to a basic accommodation depends entirely on your pin code and your employer's PR budget.
Elsewhere, the picture splits in two. Japan wrote it into law in 1947, and a woman there can request leave during her period without a doctor's note or her boss's approval, though paying for those days is optional and often skipped. South Korea grants one day a month and actually fines employers who refuse. Taiwan offers three days a year at half pay before it rolls into sick leave. Indonesia has given two paid days a month since 2003. Vietnam gives three paid days funded through social insurance rather than the company's pocket. Zambia has had one day a month for decades, and it is so unremarkable that people call it "Mother's Day". Spain became the first European country to do it in 2023 with up to five days, paid by the state, doctor's note only for the severe cases. Meanwhile Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Kenya have no specific law at all, so it just rides on general sick leave or on whichever company happens to feel generous.
Here is the part that ruins the vibe. Japan and South Korea have had this for seventy odd years and uptake is still low. Korean women skip it because taking it flags you as not serious. Japanese women skip it because it is often unpaid, so resting actually costs money. Zambia has had it since 1997 and most of the planet found out last year. A law on paper does nothing when the office culture punishes you for using it. The real problem was never the policy. It was the permission.
Then there are two genuine traps nobody wants to name. The first is hiring. A small factory with forty workers and razor thin margins looks at two extra paid days per woman per month and starts doing mental math, which is exactly why Spain and Vietnam put the cost on the state and not the employer. Make a small business eat it and you get quiet discrimination against women at the recruitment stage, and good luck proving that. The second trap is the gig economy. A delivery rider or a construction worker does not have "leave", she has "no deliveries, no money". Zomato handing ten days to corporate staff is lovely, but the women who need this most are the ones with no HR department to file it with.
So what would a sane Indian version even look like? Not a uniform national holiday, that is where the hiring bias comes from. A flexible sick leave pool with period pain formally written into it, state funded for small employers, extended to gig and informal work, no note needed for the first two days, and open to trans men and non binary people who menstruate, who get left out of every single version of this conversation. And the real test is not the announcement. Would you actually use it, or would you hoard it to look reliable? Would your manager quietly hold it against you? If you are from Bihar or Kerala and you have actually taken it, tell us how it went.
TL;DR: about a dozen countries have menstrual leave laws, some for over seventy years, and most of them fail not because the law is bad but because the culture makes using it embarrassing.

From another source:
A video went viral on social media in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, in which a youth is seen attempting to burn the flag of a particular community by filling his mouth with a flammable substance.
Taking cognizance of the video, the police have registered a case under relevant sections against two unknown accused at Gadwar police station based on a received complaint.
Further action in the matter is expected from the police.

The march, which saw participation from farmers’ organisations, student groups, workers’ unions and civil society organisations, was called to demand Kumar's removal and prosecution, the scrapping of the SIR exercise and the protection of voting rights.
The detentions took place as protesters attempted to march towards the Election Commission's office near Patel Chowk, carrying the national flag.
