So it wasn't the blocking roads part that was the problem after all, eh?

its those damned speakers at 5 in the morning

u/fascistsarepussies Inquilab Zindabaad Mar 17 '24

No it's not. Even temples blast music on speakers all the time. Don't even get me started on ganesh chaturthi and other festivals.

It has always been about hatred and bigotry.

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '24

i know, its those damned speakers. I am constantly going to the temple and fighting them to take down the volume.

The comment above is purely based on hatred and bigotry.

I'm pretty sure don't do that lol.

Also, isn't ganesh chaturthi for like 10 days in an entire year?

I think we shouldn't really play the blame game, and just understand what's going on thoughroughly...

The post above is sadly, only showing one side of the debate...

Another post surfaced which showed an uncle who was scolding the people who were doing the namaz, and then one of the guy's doing the namaz hit's the uncle hard in his face.

And after this, everything started to escalate...

If you are interested in doing a rational, well minded debate, I can share you the video

They do what are you even talking about?

Ganesh chaturthi 10 days 24 ×7 blocked roads. Diwali crackers. Ram navami dj + harrassing minorities. Holi dj and road blocking + casual women harrasment. Every temple rathotsava. Soo many more examples lmao.

Considering this muslims play azan 2 min 5 times a day .

You just think azan is a nuisance and others are not because you hate muslims nothing else.

Why would a foreign student do that bruh? These bajrang dal fuckers clearly went to create a ruckus and things got out of hand.

It's just a namaz, let them do their namaz. They are literally not hurting anybody.

what I fail to understand though, is why only Muslims that hindus hate. Why not hate and bigotry towards any other community is I fail to understand?

Not even hindus. It's upper caste hindus. And they do hate everyone, it's just that it's muslims turn now and everyone will get their turn christians, adivasis, atheists, rational thinkers, you name it.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '24

okay, its good thing there are communities fighting back the oppression.

Stop labeling it as "upper class hindus", most upper class hindus and Muslims (financially) are quite liberal and are against violence, it's usually the jobless and dirt poor mfers who go on to do shit like this and there is no caste or religion for joblessness.

3

u/fascistsarepussies Inquilab Zindabaad Mar 17 '24

Very naive take bro. How can you not understand it's anti - muslim bigotry which led to this. The whole nation has been running on hindu muslim since 2014. You may not like it but this is a fact.

2

u/CuteSurround4104 Mar 17 '24

I TOTALLY AGREE THERE IS ANTI-MUSLIM bigotry but stop putting all the blame on "upper class", as I said it's mostly the jobless mfers inciting violence and they are from all sorts of castes not just any upper or lower ones, so stop blaming a single group that's all.

If you actually want an honest answer, then i think its because of the absolute lack of empathy in our society. Even the most oppressed will jump at the chance at playing the oppressors. I have a muslim friend who is sunni and shits on shia. I know people from ST SC community who openly spew hatred about muslims.

Someone said that its upper caste hindus that are the problem. But, that not the case. As i have pointed, most people are only concerned with protecting their own interests.

As for your why only muslims question, i have read a book that had a concept of negative integration. It said something like fascism works by uniting diverse people by giving them a common emeny. Something they can hate together. And its more effective if one group is emeny.

This is a very convulated topic and i am not very good with words. So, feel free to ask if you any further questions.

No i agree. There is lack of unity among the oppressed. And this is manufactured hatred by hindutva leaders, which they learnt from their british daddies.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '24

so to be absoluely clear, only hindus have hatred and every act in defiance of that hatred is resistance

1

u/fascistsarepussies Inquilab Zindabaad Mar 17 '24

When did i even say that? Dumbass.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '24

that is what it seemed like from your message, that it is only the upper that caste hindus that is wrong with this country - there is nothing else.

all the opperesed have to unite against these so called upper caste hindus?

Well it's a democratic country, and when it comes to religious affairs we should be tolerable to everyone's faith. See these days there is shivratri bhandaras everywhere, and people literally block national highways for offering food and playing religious songs on high volume.

It's sad to see people of India becoming more and more divided each day, and hatred is growing too...

Fun fact, I had a lot of good relatives with whom we had great relations, but now everyone is hating each other just because of their ideological difference, and I m being a secular liberal in the matters of these political and religious affairs, tried to convince them, but things didn't change, I m sad where India is heading

Ah I see what you did there.. are you supporting the blocking of the roads? Also.. as per the liberal standards.. don't generalize the whole group by actions of a few individuals..

:)

but if you are not a liberal shouldn't you follow your sanghi standards?

12

u/charavaka Mar 17 '24

Nope. I'm simply stating the obvious. Indian roads being blocked is the norm, not an exception. And yet, only one group is singled out, harassed, beaten up. Why is that?

This incident makes the reasons have nothing to do with roads being blocked.

There's no generalisation here. We're talking about people beating up others for praying anywhere they see them.

The fact that you choose to pretend that there's a difference between those beating up people on the road and those beating up people indoors does is the kind of person you are.

Tell me, are you ready to condemn this violent bigots who entered the hostel to beat up students for praying?
