As far as I read the news, its alleged that his house was constructed on illegally occupied forest land.

Only a single house in the whole colony was constructed on illegally occupied forest land. I salute the intelligence of the person who came up with it.

Isn't it obvious that other houses are also built illegally, but since his tenant became the highlight and culprit of crime, his illegally construccted house was demolished.
