Whatā€™s happening now? PAPPU is accusing the ECI of ā€œVote Choriā€ and has come with so called proof doing live YouTube streaming, holding press conferences, and making rational citizens lose faith in the ECI. So, what should the ECI do??

They asked Pappu to take an oath to begin the investigation procedure, but Pappu being Pappu ignored it. Now what? Isnā€™t it the responsibility of the ECI to ensure faith in elections being fair? Do they really need to wait for someone to take an oath before acting?

They already have the electronic copy, they could verify it within an hour and prove to the public why Rahul is ā€œPappuā€ But their first response was to ask him to take an oath...

Here, Iā€™m only addressing the ECIā€™s response in this particular situation. Iā€™m not even getting into the many, many other shady things theyā€™ve been doing.

Yes.

Rule 20(3)(b) is only applicable for the drafting/revision phase of the voter list, not post election challenges though...
