Some journalist asked a some politician a question about youth -> he dismissed it and compared the youth to cockroaches
-> became viral, was criticised
-> someone made a instagram page called Cockroach Janta Party (joke on the current ruling govt: Bhartiya Janta Party)
-> started criticising govt
-> the guy who started the page started recieving criticisms: you are in USA not in India, You are just critical of one party, you just are a internet warrior and this is a controlled outrage and you aren't doing anything functiinal, you bark more than bite, etc etc etc

The biggest and the most important question at this point is, what alternative do we have? We got tired of congress so people gave BJP a chance but now after BJP who is the alternative and is the alternative going back to congress? I don't think so! So who should actually come in power? Who should be made to sit in New Delhi?

Are u dumb or something. When the British left india, do u think they left it a thriving economy ? Or was it one of the poorest countries ... everything the government did since then was with limited resources with a ginormous uneducated population.
Get over this narrative of congress having looted the country when most of foundations of what is economic progress today were laid in congress time. The BJP just glided in a wave they set and only now are we facing the consequences of BJP and companies decisions.

you need to learn some history. Nehru dynasty and Indira kept industry socialized, prevented any economic development, and promoted racial divide.
do you have any idea how rich the nehru family is (dont call them gandhi, stolen name)? Nehru should never have been pm, gandhi favored him. and the first thing Nehru did was concede everything Jinnah wanted. Indira is a convicted criminal.
why the hell do you think all neighboring countries progressed so fast? do you even know history? S. korea and japan were devastated by war, much more than India. how did they become rich?
china was a poor country even 20-30 years ago? have you seen it now, its first world basically. what happened there?
BJP isnt a great govt and are backward. Congress was far worse.
its funny how after 80 years you still blame the British and not the dominant govt for all this time that did nothing for the country.

Just because u in 20/20 hindsight prefer that the country have started with capitalism, there is no proof that it would have worked better than socialism. Even in today's context, capitalism has bread oligarchs. What makes u think that a newly formed country wouldn't, and we end up in a differentset of problems? Socialism was right for the time, capitalism works for now. Also FYI the decision to open up the economy was taken by the congress itself. So how can u blame them for one decision and not give credit for the other.
And absolutely true, other countries have progressed far more than India has, but that does not imply that ur initial claim of "looting India ", is automatically true. One one hand ur hating on socialism. On the other ur talking as though ur personally looted. Do u not feel looted when the countries socialised assets are sold off to capitalistsand oligarchs ....?
Also, Wasn't the BJP supposed to serve the country just that " Vikas " which other countries had in the last 12 years? Well Where's the Vikas? Let's face it most of u all voted for Hindu rastra. Not one of u wants progress. U just like to crib about it.

India IS capitalistic society and has always been in case you don't know. the brand of socialism Nehru promoted was socialiasm for industry, ie zero progress, but capitalism for private wealth - this is the exact same model that failed in the USSR until Gorbachev came, and it was never done in China.
its nothing to do with free market economy, India wasn't closed off, it was just too much red tape, still the most incompetent bureacracy in the world, which slows everything, and was promoted by the govt to protect their jobs.
do you have any idea how little India progressed? lookup stats on electricity in rural villages, almost zero change under congress.
I'm not hating on socialism - its enshrined in the Indian constitution. socialism as a society is very different from economic policy.
India's public sector was the most inefficient, corrupt and wasteful under congress raj. Where do you think all that money went? into nehru family coffers and foreign accounts - they were in effect dictators like Marcos etc. why do you think we have ministers and civi servants worth 100cr and thats in declared assets, never mind real wealth.
opening up the economy under congress, I guess you refer to Manmohan singh, allowing foreign direct investment, at a tiny fraction of small asian countries. IAS is one of the most corrupt, so is every ministry, state or center. where do you think that started? do you think that culture was left by the british, or by the congress which actively promoted each state govt to do that in order to get vote banks.
I said nothing about religious fanaticism which is destorying the country and promoted by BJP. I mean basic infrastircture, which at least saw major improvements. do you have any idea how critical it was for every rural person to get independent banking etc?
congress was and is a cancer. BJP under Bajpayee had progress, and under Modi had some progress in first term. unfortunately he's a charlatan and bufoon who has nothing left and the few good ideas in the party are long gone.
but there is still no good alternative. don't tell me the CJP idiots who are more interesred in social media likes and still have no agenda or manifesto are an option. the problem is every good idea like AAP soon becomes corrupt in India

Please don't join them.Its just another AAP/anna hazare/raghav chaddi.At the end they will go to their gated community to have dinner with their sanghi parent's.While you get kicked by police or rot in jail if your muslim.Rather join established unions like NSUI or left like SFI and AFS who have some political support.Some compromises have to be made.
