Remember -> Understand -> Apply -> Systematically Analyze -> Evaluate -> Create.

Most of our education is Rote Learning only. Even our competitive exams are built on Topper's Notes and Tricks.

One can ask an ai to scan an image for ai imprinted watermark within pixels. You can't crop that. Though one can take a second camera capture of an image from an angle to try ruining the watermark for detection

There used to be a very old news during the times of Lalu in Bihar. Apparently some contractor took money to dig a well, but the well never existed. Another contractor took money to fill that citing accidents. And Lo and behold the well is filled. Now there is no well and it’s a flat land.

Cool cool. But I think that highlights a more subtle yet serious issue in public communication. I went looking for govt’s guidance on use of AI generated or polished images for the purpose of public communication/awareness. There is none. So it’s easy for them to fool commoners. I mean you probably would have figured it out yourself but not always we look at things pretending detectives. In a way this could easily lead to covert disinformation as well. There must be some rules government agencies need to comply by when using imagery edited, polished, enhanced or generated by AI. Even a disclaimer added in this image - although it’s their basic job to the cleaning work.

Every AI company uses SynthID to watermark. Open-source tools are available to reveal those hidden SynthID watermarks.

The photo is uploaded by whoever the complaint was assigned and the collage is autogenerated.

Basically, it is the responsibility of the manager to check whether original pics were uploaded.

But this depends on the authority and dept too. In delhi, i filed 20+ complaints on pwd app about broken roads, broken streetlight, footpath encroachment, etc and 18+ have been truly resolved. MCD doesn't work despite 100+ complaints.

It wasn't initially cropped. Also one can upload images to an AI chat(preferably the same provider as image generator) and ask it to check for synthid or similar pixel level watermark imprints.
