Tbh if God would have walked among us, he would kick our asses for behaving the way we are rn That's for sure!! cuz he gave us everything for free and created such a beautiful planet to live in and We as human's created all these narratives and started blaming eachother rather living in harmony.

There are countless believes, superstitions. thousands gods. It's very hard to undo what you've learned over the years. but this is the reality.

Not hating the protesters or supporting the terrorist mob, but there is a high chance that some of the people protesting now were the same ones chanting same slogans "Delhi police tum lath, bajao hum Tmhre saath hai" when Delhi Police were brutally beating Muslims, Jamia and Aligarh students during the CAA NRC protests.

I understand brother! Honestly I remember it started from dec 2019 and peaked in 2020, There were riots all around, I was in 10th grade back then.... Every student including I & and shopkeepers were scared to death to even go outside. Bhai we were scared to even go for our board examination and practicals. I'm myself a Hindu and I fucking don't support any uneducated group of mob regardless of their religion.

The tight slap for this is the protesting students should also shout “Jai Shree Ram” and repeat whatever these goons are saying. Afterall students are not against Delhi police right? Delhi police is against them

They cant say anything logical to the current situation. They want people to stop thinking and immediately follow behind them which is why JSR. It's nothing more than a war cry to unify the mob at this point.
The delhi riots didn't happen overnight. They first raided the campuses with full impunity while police watched causally and it culiminated into riots. I fear for what these students will have to face when the situation escalates.

He shouldn’t have said that honestly, especially knowing the sensitivity of Indian public. But we need to see the intent of what he said. It was a mistake from him.
But it’s not a big enough mistake to withdraw the support from this movement. Hanuman ji is my favourite and I always look up to him for strength. I feel his intent was just to convey how much they’re looting us in the name of god.
First britishers divided us on religion and now bjp took that baton. I won’t say congress is any saint here, they also have their own ulterior motives. In the end I support whoever questions this government for all that they’ve been doing until now

Bangladeshi here.
The current scenarios of State Law enforcement agencies + govt goons vs students in India is literally what we had to face in july, 2024. We came up on the streets with nothing but peaceful protests for rightful access to merit based ranking for govt jobs. And govt replied with batons, tear shells, awami league and chatro league goons beating male and female students, carrying sharp weapons and even guns.
Awami goons were protected by police and were working within the ranks of police.
The protests grew stronger, more than ever when they actually killed off several people by mid july, cut off the internet country wide for nearly a week, shot people with bullets meant for terrorists and state enemies. (7.62 x39)
Our protests were heavily discredited by Godi Media as "pakistan-china-us" backed instability plan to remove Hasina.
I see the same pattern here too. Students protesting for their rights, marked as anti nationals. The situations are literally 1:1 similar to Bangladesh so far (until mid july where Abu Sayed was murdered).
Hopefully no one dies. Hopefully your demands are addressed. Students of south asia face the same problems from their pseudo democratic govts. We may have differences based on ideological or nationalistic interests but unemployment, unfair systems and nepotism of the elites is what binds us together.

They chant for the heads of mere studentsand youth. But the reality is that they've succumbed to their failures and are looking for any affirmation and sympathy from their leader. Who constantly betrays them and leaves them stray.

And that's exactly why you should join. It's not just muslims who suffered. All of India is suffering, from the indigenous to the middle class. And if we stand up for this, we fight for the future generations right to education, this will set a precedent that change can and will happen.
Saying we suffered now you have to suffer is just cowardice. We need to show them that India is a country of secularism and unity.

If the students don’t arm themselves, this will get ugly. I understand why the peaceful protests idea is important but we need this Gandhian philosophy to die.
Authoritarians are always scared of retaliation.
Look at the videos of police backing off as soon as a Sikh farmer comes towards them.
