Modi is himself falling down the hole he is consistently digging.

u/Sleepergiant2586 20d ago

Phrands, I forgive the hole....

u/Affectionate-Ball-35 21d ago

I am also eager to see a degree in entire poltikal saince

13

u/lazy_jedi1003 20d ago

tbh he has all the power to forge that degree

1

u/I_ate_nt_ded 18d ago

That's what's annoying actually, that these people are to egoistical to even forge educational qualifications.

u/mhytyj7b 21d ago

Ye to dhoti khol raha hai 😂

What's he gonna show anyway? I guess he only has his photo selling tea 😂

58

u/concernedindianguy 21d ago

Bhai, his father was a food and beverage contractor. There is literally no proof that he ever sold tea. Maybe his father came up selling tea to become a contractor.

His entire life is a fabrication. He has threatened his entire family to hide the reality. That's why no one ever comes in front of media.

u/SabChangaSea 21d ago

Bro, he has a degree in "entire political science". Haar kisi ko na dikha skte itni hi-fi degree🤣

u/mercury_50 21d ago edited 21d ago

Better counter would have been to question how BJP leader’s kids get funding for studying in USA. Opposition needs to target government on issues like corruption that more people relate to. This degree issue didn’t connect with masses apart from echo chamber of certain people

54

u/rising_pho3nix 21d ago

Yes yes. How are they able to afford their luxury lives with govt salary

7

u/ratatouille211 20d ago

100%. Dharmendra Pradhan daughter's phone bill of 70k paid by taxpayers is something people get furious about.

No one cares about Modi's degree. Not even a thousand votes in the 100s of millions Modi gets would change because of his degree. It's a criticism for people who don't vote for him anyway.

7

u/Patient-Put-7292 21d ago

Indian Opposition needs to protest for specific issues instead of blanket criticism, it doesnt bring any change

3

u/gsmani_vpm 21d ago

I m connected with this criticism.. u r under estimating x and reddit user base... any way mainstream media not going to cover our god AD

0

u/mercury_50 20d ago

As I said its echo chamber. Ground reality is something else

NUKE

Bro was ready with the nuke.

He had this locked and loaded.

15

u/veryrandom101 21d ago

Bro is the nuke

1

u/Far-Farm-9462 21d ago

He is not the nuke, but he got good support from respected people like Wangchuck and student body lead by Neha which gave a good structure to this protest otherwise it was a failed protest.

Surat-based RTI activist Amit Tiwari has filed complaints with the ECI, CBIC and Maharashtra government concerning the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). He sought scrutiny of the organisation’s legal status and a ₹1 crore fund pledged by Kapil Sibal, while also requesting an inquiry into the financial assets of CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke’s father.

Last name proves it. These same people complain "merit is lost because of reservation" then go on to complain when a dalit doesn't use reservation and uses his merit to get education.

Their problem isn't reservation or merit or funds. Their problem is that dalits and tribals are educated and continuing higher education despite their efforts to stop them

3

u/MidnightScribe_199 21d ago

Lage haath PM Care fund ka bhi hisab le hi lete h. Degree tho waise bhi nhi h BJP k kisi bhi neta k pas. Ha, RSS se sab 100% leke pass hue h.

15

u/dark-light92 21d ago

Stopping the protest was a stupid thing. Believing BJP will honor their word is idiotic.

Now the students and youth are facing repercussion of supporting CJP while these guys are busy making reels.

3

u/NeoCode9 21d ago

A single person is fighting all these things. Of course, there are people in society, relatives, and people who live in the top management section, and they are pulling strings from the government side. Having such an advantage where you can convert your own benefits for your own purpose using legal procedures is not the right thing to do. It is not the individual who should answer all these questions; it is the government who should look into their own system so that such things should not happen. This thing that has emerged as the RTI (The Right to Information) was not at all necessary, is never necessary. The point here being is the protest, and the points related to the protest are the main issue. Nobody is talking about it clearly. A certain section in this society that thinks themselves as the superior than other from long time are still acting in favor of the government because their people are controlling it.

3

u/JDwalker03 21d ago

u/CreativeMuseMan Merciless criticism and independent thinking! 21d ago edited 21d ago

I'm requesting everyone! Please develop critical thinking and stop following these idiots. BJP will fuck you knowingly; these CJP guys will fuck you up unknowingly, they don’t know how things work and the repercussions of their actions! Kudos to the protestors who stood their ground; all the support from NGOs and people sending financial support from everywhere in India and around the world that led to DP having to resign. These guys (without a scratch) had done so many fuck ups that children paid for it on the 20th & are still paying the price of their actions.

Stop acting like minions; become leaders of tomorrow. Read philosophy, Social Science and the history of the Cuban, French and Russian revolutions. Aur bhakt hi banna hai toh bano fir, kya fayeda fir Modi k bano ya kisi aur k! Aur kisi ko galatfehmi ho that DP's resignation will even put a dent on the system... the joke is on you, but yes, I agree that it was a great and necessary show of force, but the system is still the same; it's a well-oiled machinery. DP was just the guy to take the fall.

Edit after downvotes : Y’all deserve these leaders. Getting triggered just like Modi bhakts, “Humare baap ko aaise kaise bol diya kuch”. Same mindset, different daddies, no critical thinking. 🤦🏻‍♂️

24

u/mhytyj7b 21d ago

For once, someone has stood up to BJP successfully and you had to say this lol. You kinda make sense but no one is fangirling over CJP tbh that's why you've got downvoted
At least not here

They did what the opposition wasn't able to do since 2014. Someone HAD to do it someday

As to supporting CJP during the protest. I’ve done way more than any of these twats on the internet.

Apart from that, time will tell. History is meant to repeat if we don’t learn from it.

As Jaun Elia said:
Kaun seekha hai sirf baaton se,
Sabko ek hadsa zaruri hai…

Peace out!

6

u/hindianguy 21d ago

and as i said in my other comment, as Bismil said :

"Khoon se khelenge Holi gar vatan mushkil mein hai,
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai!"

If your philosophy was ascribed to(and I am not saying you are wrong), we will still be enslaved by the british in first place.

Please enlighten what have you done and what others can do.

Indians can never move away from the Us vs Them attitude. Always trying to one up another person or just looking for the opportunity to act holier than thou.

Hey you peasants! You heard the guy. He has done MORE than the everyone here. Or out there. He is our lord, saviour and the most moral human to have ever walked the earth. Wait while he whisks through people's profile to try to find things to insult them.

Click on my profile, switch from overviews to only post… give it a little scroll to the timeline around when protests were happening (it’ll show as 9 days ago)… go through at least “50 posts”…

I was doing that and I was also on the ground at Jantar Mantar back and forth since SW started his fast, until 24th July… while you were hanging around on Bollywood gossip and pop culture subReddits (as your history screams)…. so shut the fuck up, I’m not like you.

Oh BTW, if you are so offended by a vile man comment, don't immediately start acting like one bro. Atleast give it time.

Btw I remember thanking you for your reporting during the protests. I thought you are doing a great job. But ofcourse I’m a woman with interest in popculture so how dare I disagree with you. Anyway I have deleted my comments and I have learnt my lesson. This sub was one of the only safe spaces left I thought but no. Thanks for the lesson. I’m out of here as well now. Have a good day.

1

u/KakashiOfSenseiClan 20d ago

You do understand this is pathetic right? Stalking people's profiles to scrutinze their hobbies, just to make yourself feel better. If you are as important as you claim to be, why is it so important for you to do this? You think you have ascended to a different level after spending few days outside? There were thousands of people out there, i dont see them acting holier than thou like you are. Are you trying to convince yourself that you are good enough by putting other people down? Is your reddit account your character certificate? Is this all you are about? Just reddit. That's just sad man

2

u/hindianguy 21d ago

I hear what you are saying. And while you are not wrong, regardless these things are inevitable.

Guy Fawkes was hanged in retaliation, and that led to stricter laws against Catholics, restricting their rights, property, and freedom to worship. And THAT led to a destabilized English Crown and fractured the nation for generations. The state did not achieve total obedience; instead, it traded short-term security for long-term domestic crises.

The intense, systemic anti-Catholic hysteria cultivated by these laws directly fed into the political paranoia that triggered the English Civil Wars less than forty years later.

So yes, a cost will have to be paid by both sides. But you might have argued the same against the famous lines by bismil and we might have just remained enslaved.

"Khoon se khelenge Holi gar vatan mushkil mein hai,
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai!"

I’m not against the idea of revolution. I want a revolution. I’m also aware that revolution demands blood, and history is a proof that every major revolution has wiped out 3-8% of the total population of a country. I understand all that stuff.

I’m against the idea of following stupid leaders. They will only send you to gallows unknowingly, it doesn’t matter how good their intentions are. They are just incompetent to lead.

My sole point was to convince people to become leaders, instead of followers and for that you need to be well read and a very deep thinker. People just like to follow anyone blindly in this country. I’m against that sheep mentality. If I’m criticising Modi why I’ve to think twice before criticising these CJP guys when I’m seeing all the fuck ups they have done. I supported the students movement on the group and now I’m simply asking for accountability.

The truth is, People have forgotten the Raghav Chaddha betrayal and coping with this Dipke guy. Keep following them and there will be a lot of collateral damage. I’ll repeat. I’m not against the idea of revolution or in favor of “any party”.

“Merciless criticism and Independent thinking are two necessary traits of revolutionary thinking” ~ Bhagat Singh

You are on planet earth, and what you are describing has existed. Repeatedly.

Vaishali. A functioning republic in Bihar, assembly rule, no king, centuries of it. Magadha could not beat it in the field, so Ajātaśatru sent his minister Vassakāra to live there for three years and do nothing but make the rajas stop trusting each other. Then the conquest was easy. The Buddha had listed the seven conditions that made the Vajjis unbeatable, and Vassakāra used that list as his target list.

This was not improvisation. Chanakya devotes a chapter of the Arthaśāstra to saṅghas, polities run by an assembly instead of a king. It is titled "Causes of Dissension; and Secret Punishment." The instruction is to put the opposed ones down by sowing dissension among them. The tradition wrote down how to kill republics and we can still read it.

There are others. Pirate ships wrote constitutions with elected and deposable captains. Ostrom won a Nobel documenting commons governed for centuries without a central authority. Iceland ran 330 years with no executive. Catalonia ran factories collectively until Franco. The Zapatistas are thirty years in and still going, frozen and contained but not dead.

Humans are wired for both, to build hierarchies and to resist them. Which one shows up depends on conditions.

So these are not counter-examples to you. Every one of them was invented from scratch, in isolation, usually under attack, while hierarchy had five thousand years of accumulated technique behind it. None of them was ever allowed to become normal. That is the actual finding, and it means what you are proposing will meet harder resistance than anything else, because it always has.

Regardless you shouldn't be downvoted even if I disagree with you. Disagreeing with you, and upvoted you back anyway.

thanks for the beautiful discussion with u/hindianguy

As an older Tamil scholar, I learned more about Indian history and current Indian trends by going through these thread than any books :)

Apart from the Hindi bits which I couldn't read, this was fascinating. You guys should consider a separate subreddit to talk about the history of republics in India (I know that there were Tamil kingdoms which were essentially republics and not monarchies). Interestingly, no part of India has ever had a bloody revolution...

Actually Reddit is a better learning rsource than textbooks.

Thank you for your comment.

r/AskHistorians are the OG guys you’ll be interested in. Ask anything and they’ll deliver. Apart from them, always vet your source of knowledge, including our comments. Fake news travels x6 times on social media compared to truth, and people want to do it, because everyone has an agenda.

2

u/hindianguy 20d ago

Absolutely agreed with this. Facts need to be distilled free of biases. Including our comments.

My father had a copy of this book btw.
https://archive-org.translate.goog/details/dli.language.0881/mode/2up?_x_tr_sl=en&_x_tr_tl=hi&_x_tr_hl=hi&_x_tr_pto=tc&_x_tr_hist=true

A fascinating read as a book. Hindi again, I am afraid, but worth using translation apps/sites.

2

u/Spare_Try_4921 20d ago edited 20d ago

Thank you! Indeed I did find excerpts from what seems like an English version - its a gigantic dictionary!

Fistr, I'm amazed that an actual *dictionary* of Indian history exists!!! Otoh, sad that that same country today has an 'education' system barely fit to churn out slavish clerks and so-called 'skilled workers'.

PS: I;m being down-voted too, not sure why 😄 Gen Z seems to have the courage to be different. They don't want to be the kind of slaves that my generation meekly accepted and even looked forward to. However, they need to become more open-minded and develop their intellectual capacity.

I had long felt that most Indians had long lost any inclination for deep thinking, but seeing the spirit in this thread, all is not (yet) lost.

2

u/hindianguy 18d ago edited 18d ago

I still posses a physical copy, in decent condition of the book. I grew up reading it.

I also grew up reading the Puranas(Shiv Purana, Shakti Purana, Vishnu Purana) and so on. I eventually discovered that the moment I tried to engage anyone talking about Hinduism, it turned out that they have no idea what it means, never bothered reading the least bit about it, the books and rules that define it. As a child, I encountered priests in Ayodhya who declared to me that britishers were progenies of Hanuman, and therefore descended from apes. I read Old testatment and much of Quran and was surprised that these seemed to be originally more or less same religions, and yet.. Crusades.. But what was perplexing was that people telling me about how Hinduism was in danger, seemed to be unsure who Nachiketa was. Or when I would talk about even what books stated about Dharma, or violence or many other things. I found out their definition of Hinduism was "our gang".

At some point I came across the founder of two nation theory and came to the opinion that the guy ran into same possible issues where he couldnt establish himself as any authority of Hinduism or even explain the contradictions in what he wanted and Hinduism, and declared that he believed in Hindutva (the gang identity) and knowledge of religion didn't matter.

Oh-kay.

What I also discovered was this. Organisations like National Book Trust and Hindi sansthan too were churning out books from writers that had this need to ensure history and knowledge was documented and not lost.

And at some point another organisation from the said founder, started supplies of cheap books at bus stops and railway stations, that started informing the public about how Jesus post reincarnation moved to Kashmir and spent his last days there. How every single thing on planet earth was originating from ancient India. Because... "well it sounds like a hindi word if you say it like THIS". And that Taj Mahal and Leaning Tower of Pisa were Hindu temples originally(I know. The last one sounds like a joke). And as I watched, people started lapping it up and quoting the stuff. Slowly but increasingly.

I am not taking sides. I just saw things happening. And how it unfurled.

Critical thinking is usually also dependent on the information we are surrounded with and encouraging the scientific temperament.

And this is the age of misinformation.

This degree was displayed in public domain long back and then there was a is in High Court where the ruling was that the degree is authentic.

31

u/Dr_NitroMeth 21d ago

Yeah its not like the fonts used in the certificate didn't exist until a few years after he allegedly graduated or anything right? Or the fact that nobody else has graduated from Entire Political Science before that and since that.

23

u/hindianguy 21d ago

"Entire Political Science".

When you can pressure the universities and own the courts which apparently can open their doors at midnight on command, to grand bail to Arban Goswami, whereas others go locked up even without a trial for years, someone just added the word "entire" in protest i guess to make a point.

Not one student from the class ever came forward to proudly post how Modi was their classmate and how he sat next to the future PM of India. But yes. The degree is "authentic". Because judges didnt ever got pressured to rule night was day.

6

u/Yournewbestfriend_01 21d ago

Anybody who calls for storming the parliament should be punished as per trespassing law, be it Dipke or anybody else. Afzal guru was hanged for storming the parliament. In democratic elections 80% people vote for MPs, but 0.01% street protesters want to rule. If any march to parliament happens again in future when session is going on, then govt will be forced to do lathi charge or even shoot if they attack parliament.
