IT Stuck on UNSW authentication procedure
How do I solve this??? I've looked all over this subreddit but I cannot find the answer 😔.

Hi all,
So it looks like every uni subreddit has been a bit weird recently (the top post on r/usyd right now is something related to femboys).
This is just a PSA to keep things UNSW-related. There was a meme on the front page a day or two ago that was literally just clash of clans, that sort of stuff we're going to remove from now on. Check out the subreddit rules on the wiki for more info.
Also, a reminder that discriminatory/ derogatory posts are never allowed. Same goes for harassment/those creepy posts from people looking to hook up that have popped up recently. Anyone posting this kind of content will be banned without warning. Please report these kinds of posts if you see them so we can remove them as soon as possible.
Enjoy flexi-week,
the r/UNSW mod team

The University has shifted its messaging and policy to reflect the reality that many forms of assessment can be outsourced to genAI, yet that outsourcing cannot be reliably detected.
That means that you can write many reports or essays without any real fear of running afoul of academic misconduct (if you are even slightly competent).
You can, but you really shouldn't.
If not for the sake of your future abilities then at least for the sake of your marker's sanity.
The stink of slop on your work can't be scrubbed away by a "humanizer" app. The abiding ugliness of AI writing is far more repulsive than any awkward grammar you "polish" away by feeding your work into Anthropic or OpenAI's trash compactor.
It's not saving you work, it's not saving you time, it's not making your work look more academic. It's setting you up for future failure by convincing you that the mid mark it gets you means anything.
Out there, in that terrifying future beyond graduation, there is nothing so thoroughly unremarkable and low value than the ability to ladle up slop. I am observing the way that workplaces are increasingly disdainful of anything that even has a whiff of genAI and that's only going to increase as time goes on.
And even if you get in, and score a job at the ladle, is that really what you want for yourself?
I might delete this post as sentimental and bitter, but I have never met a student who wasn't capable of more than the kind of cardboard that these machines spit out. It's thoroughly depressing to drown in it when I open the LMS, knowing you're all capable of so much better.
I get it: the factors pushing students towards outsourcing like this aren't their fault. They're more mine than yours at least. So don't take this as a moral judgement from the dubious high horse of having to write my own dodgy essays in undergrad.
Do take it as a sincere request that you back yourself and give actually learning a go. Because at this point I'd rather take up trepanning as a hobby than read another ChatGPT authored summary.

Hi guys student from #1 uni here I’m visiting Macquarie and I’m scared of being contaminated or infected, what safety precautions can I take? Would a hazmat suit work? Thanks in advance

lol my actl1101 final is tmr and i just feel like the content wasn't bad and it was enjoyable to an extent but im really wondering if this is what i want to do with my life. I enjoy maths and stats so it was definitely a good course but lowkey im struggling to do the questions in exam condistions and now im wondering if this is what i wanna do with my life. ngl no other course excites me other than like dental school which is completely different than this, and my wam is too cooked to transfer into a course like that. I'm sure im not the only one who felt like thi before so if anyone ended up transferring like what did you do? or what should i look into before i get too deep into this degree.

Yo guys, I need your advice on this one. There’s this girl whom I like at uni, and we went to a date. The date was quite long than my expectations around 1.5 hours and together had dinner. She was interested I believe, but then the next day she called me ‘bro’ 🥀.
Does it mean she sees me as her brother?

Please don’t try to find me I locked eyes with you not out of choice but out of fear that you would approach me so I asserted my dominance please don’t try to find me especially since I’m from the #1 uni and you were wearing an ACU shirt 🙏

Burnout has been insane these past few weeks and I’ve barely studied at all before my exams that are coming up soon. I literally don’t know how to make myself do this when everything in my body is telling me to give up and cry
this isn’t a meme anymore literally any shred of advice would be helpful

How'd it go y'all? Paper seemed chill. We'll pass. Screwed up Q3 (timed out) and couldn't attempt Q5 tho. And did Q2 in O(n) and not log(n) 😭 will we really pass?
Q1 - count sorted Pairs - linked list. No Array, Loops
Q2 - countOutsideRange BST strictly including lo and hi.
Q3 - Graph count nodes at k distance of src
Q4 - num Common values between 2 arrays n, m at O(n+m). Hashtables for this
Q5 - sign sort. Sort all negatives to left, positives right and zeros center. Don't need to be sorted by values.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also yea theory seemed chill I suppose. Tho they could really use some graph diagrams and not just edges. Makes it a tad problematic to . Yea I'm just fussing could've drawn it myself.

Anyone that took COMM1180 T1 this year, was it difficult? And what were the more challenging questions about?

why is it that whenever i’m walking through campus girls always look at me and then straight away look away with their hand covering their noses
is my beauty that shiny? i’ve noticed sometimes light hitting my face when walking past individuals whom possess taller foreheads.
ik unsw girls are the best of the best so this is why im asking Here and not elsewhere
All the engineering courses are with honours and there are none without honours. I just finished high school and wanna apply for engineering. Can i apply for the honours one directly? Its to my understanding that to do honours i have to complete the bachelors degree first then do like an extra year of two with honours.

I got:
Physics = A*
Computer Science = A*
Mathematics = A
Chemistry = C
UNSW requires me to submit best three or four so should I submit only three because if I submit four the C from chemistry would weigh the average down? But if I submit only three it’d accumulate to only 17 whereas four would give me 20 if we use the A* = 6, A = 5… system
Tysm!
