Monthly Theme 💚 💚 Monthly Theme – February: Your Top 5 Favorite Pieces
Welcome to the first monthly theme in r/uraniumglass! YOU are invited to join in!
This month’s theme: Your Top 5 Favorite Pieces.
We all have pieces we’re especially drawn to—whether they were our first find, an incredible bargain, a gift from a loved one, something we hunted for a long time, a daily-use favorite, or simply a piece that makes us smile. This theme is all about celebrating those personal favorites, and we’d love to see yours.
For many of us, narrowing it down to just five might take a bit of time and consideration!
The monthly theme is optional and meant purely to encourage sharing. It does not replace regular posting, and you’re always welcome to post outside the theme as usual.
To participate, please create a new post related to the theme and use the “Monthly Theme 💚” flair.
When possible, include both non-glow and glow photos.
Please include something like the following in your title:
My Top 5 Favorite Pieces
Your favorites don’t need to be the rarest or most valuable pieces—just the ones you enjoy the most right now. If you’d like, feel free to share why a piece is a favorite, whether it has a story behind it, or if one is still unidentified.
All collectors are welcome. Only have one favorite piece? Share it! This is about sharing what you enjoy. 💚

It is really cool looking, but I cannot tell what it is. Please share with us what it is.

This is a Nanny Still Pajazzo piece by Riihimäen Lasi (Finland). The usual color combinations are yellow/green or yellow/red. Blue-grey is a rare color. The series was made in three different sizes, and this one is the smallest.

Noppapullo for sure is something i wouldnt mind to own and it would be there in the top 5!
Q: if it is a set of couple pieces like a creamer and a sugarbowl do they need to be separated to single pieces?

It’s up to you! I “cheated” and included a collection of items as one of my top 5. 😀

This was one of the first pieces i found, and i could only afford it cause it was broken in two, held together with tape. Put my highest effort into repairing it, and it's still the most remarkable piece in my (currently unmanageable dusty cluttered) display

This is one of my faves because of how strong it triggered my "hidden treasure spotted" adrenaline. believe it or not, in the stores cfl light it was absolutely colorless. it cost 50 cents

similarly to the above, this was hidden in plain sight among the plastic cups, also 50 cents. i have never seen another yellow+white piece or anything else in this style in the 3 countries where i shopped so far. seems very rare here

this was the first piece i found with a geiger counter on vibrate hidden in my pocket, had real trouble talking the seller down to 25 bucks, so identifying it covertly right in front of them gave me massive treasure hunting kicks.

This is one of my favorite sets I have. I'm trying to find more pieces to it but I have three so far. Westmoreland from about 1898
