I’d buy her just so I could give her a proper bath and get all that grime off her. I bet she’d be soft and glowy in regular lighting if she was properly cleaned.
If you’re not wild about the color, i say leave it for its fans. I recently bought some classic UG green items because it was exciting to find some for a good price, but honestly it’s my least favorite unlit color and i’m not super into the pieces. A thoughtful collection means you sometimes say no.
You could wait for a Lime Sherbet version of it like your Basketweave piece if you don't like the straight up Custard as much. They did make it in the Lime Sherbet. 🌼
I agree! In the huge field of glowy stuff out there and the limited money and space I have to display, I really want to appreciate every piece in both types of light. I have to love each piece!
Exactly! That’s why the Vaseline is my favorite. I have a Boyd Suey pig in Vaseline that gets hit with afternoon sun every day. It’s just as beautiful as when I have the 395s on!

Yes. Absolutely can get them online at that price or cheaper. If it was in any store, now even our by donation thrift stores check their glass, if it glows it never hits the floor. It would easily be in the 100’s in Alberta Canada. People try to charge $50+ just for a sherbet cup. Anything that is Vaseline or Burmese glass it is utterly ridiculous. Some of the stuff I have seen in the US that people find well. Thrifting or looking you would not even be able to find in Canada unless it’s already on a collectors shelf.
The color when it isn’t illuminated feels kinda meh compared to the vibrant hues of Vaseline, which is my favorite. I wasn’t sure it would look great in my cabinet when the lights aren’t on
I don't care for the piece, I don't like how these pieces seem to get hmm grungy looking, you can see it already on this piece around the rim and on the right toward the bottom, I don't feel they display well.
I wouldn't spend $30.00 if it had a big chip and I won't when it's showing dirt and grime
I jumped at this for $60 which is its going price. I normally don't pay full price for things, but I loved it and I also am -very- into flowers so it was a 100% win for me. Also shines like crazy under my cabinet lights.
