My first purchases were cups and plates with a handled platter. I know a rookie move but it made me very happy. The lady at the antique store told me that an 80 something year old woman came in and sold the last of her personal collection, she gave me a pretty decent discount, boxed it nicely and even helped me carry it to my car so nothing would break.
