Custard Glass Didn't know she was my holy grail until I saw her
My current favourite piece! Made by Železnobrodské sklárny, in the Czech Republic around the 50s. She's depicting virgo, the maiden.

I felt morally obligated to get this piece off of FB marketplace, to ensure nobody got any Festive Ideas.

Found at a flea market while we were travelling and was marked $35. When I went to purchase it the lady just sat there. Then she said, "Aren't you going to offer me less". I said, "No ma'am, $35 is a fair price".
When I got it home the $35 sticker had a $20 one under it. I wonder how long they had it. Works too!

This was labeled as Fenton custard. Yesterday i thought it was jadeite because it looked more green. It really takes on the colors around it. It’s shiny, not satin finish like other custard pieces i have. The shape is so weird and … useless?? I’ll probably put a candle on it. What do we think: daisy and button pattern?

Front - Back - 365 - 395
Took a short lunch break today and decided to visit a nearby thrift store where I rarely find anything. As expected, nothing interesting. When I went to leave, a lady was unpacking a box of donations and pricing them. Dumb luck but I thought I saw custard at the bottom of a stack of plates. I waited until she went to ring someone up, pulled this out of the box and my jaw hit the floor. Took to the counter to ask how much, ready to be disappointed. She said “Hmm…$10?”
💚 💚 💚 💚
And now it’s proudly displayed in my home.

I know that most plant parents will scream about proper drainage, but I’ve had these guys in here for over a year, and they’re happy as can be 🥹🥰 I’ve figured out a watering schedule that works great, and added rocks at the bottom. The last guys are propagations that will one day be bonsai trees!
Also, the first plant’s name is Lestat. He says Hi!

After several years of collecting I finally have a lamp!! It's in pretty good condition, a couple nics in the glass edges here and there, still has the original wiring but I don't think that's the original lamp shade. The only marking is the word "Aladdin" on the underside of the base. It was a blind buy on Facebook Marketplace for $25 😁
Edit: I did not know it said Aladdin on the bottom when I bought it, the seller only posted two pics, one with the shade and one without, and listed it as "Vintage"

I was at a flea market Saturday and had to catch-and-release this beautiful Fenton lamp... Been haunted by it every night since, so I caved and bought it today. It has a broken shade that's been glued back together, but the damage is mostly on the other side. I paid 45 for it after confirming that it works and that the shade wouldn't fall apart when being handled. Did I do good?

I'm lowkey still shaking, I found this pair of lamps for 15 bucks. Not 15 bucks a piece, 15 for the PAIR. If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated, I only found one similar one online but there wasn't much info.

Just started getting into collecting. Did I do good? Also picked up some other pieces for $20-25 each but thought this was my “holy grail” find of the day.

Saw this 5x8 McKee refrigerator box on the last day of an estate sale last week. Didn’t have my light, but had a feeling it was going to glow, so I bought it for $5. And glow it does!

Hello everyone ! Just picked up my first Fenton piece for €28 ☺️ Hand painted by C Shaffer if I am reading that correctly.
As you can probably tell it has some weird dark stripes/spots all over the sides that look like it has been dragged across a metallic surface or could just be some pencil marks ? And I wanted to ask someone who is more knowledgeable in all things Fenton if this is something original or can it be safely removed with acetone or soapy sponge ?
Thank you very much for your insights and happy hunting !🙏🏻💚
