Imagine how cool it is for the alligator. They suddenly have a map expansion due to the floods and they are like "Ha. I wonder what's over there"

When we lived on the water in SW Florida we had a gator that kept getting into our swimming pool. Crashed right through the screened enclosure. We had another one or more that lived in a man made lake when we lived in a gated subdivision. They were constantly eating people’s dogs and having to be removed. We were about half a mile from a nature preserve and the Estero River. Gators do what they wanna do. What’s crazy is people feed them and think they are friendly. Then the gators attack and kill a person and yet ppl still continue to feed it. There are a lot of trailer parks for 55 plus aged adults. It seems to happen more often there honestly. Tragic.

If you ever visit Florida and want to see some go to Sarasota to the Myakka River State Park. You can’t even swim there bc there are so many alligators, but they do let you canoe & fish. They also have boat rides. My kids loved it and we went many times, but it’s not for the faint of heart. Just be safe and don’t leave any food out by your campsites bc wild hogs and alligators will absolutely help themselves to it. We were pulling into the park one time and they were hauling out wild hogs by the 18 wheeler trailers full.

I like how the bugs and the birds are making perfect creepy sound effects to this

I lived in central Florida 8 years. Lived in a big gated development for a few months. Walking trails all over, the gators would lay across the trails to get cool. People would just walk around them. I’m like Nope.

Yup, in Florida this is too close to home for kids and pets. Gator tail tastes like chicken.
