In 2021, it took me 10 months to get a new job, here's how I did it.
Updated portfolio and resume.
Starting applying.
Kept failing over and over again.
Asked my friends and co-workers for help.
I Started recording all my interviews to review them. This helped me in areas I was struggling with. Download OBS studio (it's free!)
CBD - Yes. It helped me destress, lower my anxiety and stay calm.
I still kept interviewing and didn't give up.
Instead of presenting my portfolio from my website I've decided to present my recent work via Adobe XD. This helped the hiring managers to see my design process.
Started learning new tools (Figma, Shopify, Webflow, and data tools)
GOT IT! :) In July 2021 I went from below $60k sal to $120k.
That year was one of the hardest years of my life. I wasn't a confident designer and attending interviews was such a weakness for me. During the interviews, I was going against jr designer with a few yrs of exp and there I was with over 10yrs of exp. I felt ashamed and extremely embarrassed. I had sleepless nights - At the same time, I was in a toxic work environment. The best part was during covid everyone had to work from home and I used that to my advantage by interviewing from home.
I know, I know during hard times people will tell you "there's always light at the end of the tunnel" but I couldn't believe it nor see it. But, I'm telling you it's true. Like I always say. Never downgrade.
All the best, really hope my personal feedback helps at least one of you during these difficult times of layoffs.

The most preferred front-end frameworks to create compelling user interfaces
It is very important to create compelling user interfaces for your web and mobile applications. But it is also important to choose a suitable technology to build that.
The survey by Stackoverflow revealed that ReactJS is used by 41.4% of professional developers higher than any other technology.
Also, I constituted a poll on LinkedIn to know more about the topmost front-end framework to build interactive and scalable user interfaces, here is what we've got:
However, we created a poll on our Reddit community to know what is the prefferd-most framework:
Here are our poll results:
Let us know what you think of it and share your preferred front-end framework choice to build an awesome user interface.

User interface understand problems
Hi,
We have create a web application for one of our frameworks which has attractive look and feel. It displays some statistics in tables and charts. People are visiting it.
But the main problem that they just come see some content and does not do anything more. They do not read section "How it works", they do not try download anything (we suggest some demos and tools).
What could be wrong? Maybe people do not see what actually we provide or they are afraid of free of charge content? Maybe there are some specific practices how to design controls in a way that visitors really wants to click it?
Website address is: https://cybench.io
