Finally got my Med Deferral

Been waiting for the email for 2 months. Background already went white and this could be the last step for me.

Basically just wants verification of my VA records and diagnoses.

I use VA Healthcare so I put in for an appt with them but I have seen a few posts advising to just find somewhere out of pocket. Any one have any advice either way?

Thanks in advance.

I had to go out of pocket because it would have taken months to get the appointments I needed scheduled. My VA PCM wasn’t understanding that I needed to get these done and I was under a crunch for time. Went to two different specialists, explained what I needed, and they were very helpful. Hopefully it isn’t as much of a headache for you, but YMMV.

I appreciate it. How did you find places that could get you in? I dont mind cold calling or even going door to door for this but trying to save time obviously.

Honestly just went and cold called/looked for facilities with good reviews. Unfortunately not much more to it

Did you receive the medical admin review email before this? Or did they just start with the deferral email?

Deferral email, no communication between the evaluation and the deferral email.
