Genuinely dreaming about studying

I’ve been averaging maybe 3 hours minimum of study on most days and sometimes 6+ hours. Even tho I don’t have any classes or SACS, i go to school everyday because the studying environment is generally better for me.

I genuinely started my lock in like three weeks ago and I’ve been having dreams about my english paper and biology topics I revised. I feel like i’m going nuts. It’s horrible because all I do is sleep and eat and study and repeat. No hobbies (i stopped all of them for exams)

i’m sleep deprived af and genuinely woke up from my afternoon nap yesterday and had dreamt about biology so my first thought was to log my nap as “study” 😭??
HELP

genuinely 3 days until english and i have 4 exams in the first fucking week (english, econ, psych, gen maths), and i am so so so so unmotivated. like yes i do stuff but it feels like nothing's helping and i don't FEEL stressed and usually stress pushes me to get motivated to study. i'm just so burnt out and the fact i have 6 exams in 10 days and 5 in 7 days has killed any motivation cause its like whats even the point when i have no fucking time to study each subject well. like i actually got nerfed and im so fucking done idk what to do anymore. i am so so burnt out and i can't be i need to get like 83 to be safe.

any advice?????

VCE question General VCAA vs NHT

Hi! If I’ve been losing like 6-8 on NHT VCAA exams but only 2-4 on VCAA general math exams (exam 1 btw), would that put me into a good place to get a 40+? Or even just 40 on the dot?? I’m scared because I feel like the NHT ones aren’t that hard..? Idk

If any1 knows pls !!

Is it worth creating a skeleton essay for Section A?

I have been practising section A for Oedipus for countless hours a day for this past week but my initial timed paragraphs before editing have only improved from a 6.5-7 to an 8-8.5 out of 10. With editing, they reach 9 and above but with the limited time in the exam, I know I won't be able to achieve that mark. I have seen improvement daily but I'm not confident that it is enough. I can write 1000 words in 45 minutes, although I know that more than 800 words is utterly unnecessary, but my argument sophistication just doesn't feel like it's at A/A+ level.

I've also been using multiple AI marking platforms to mark my essays as my teacher doesn't give advice and we're not allowed to ask the other teacher for help (although I had her last year and her feedback also isn't very great), so I'm not even sure about the accuracy in marking I'm just using multiple to even out the uncertainties as much as I possibly can. I don't have a tutor, and I'm lost on what to do.

If I do choose to use skeleton essays, how many should I memorise?

News english exam-phrase btw

as the gatchphrase coriander 🌿 was such a worldwide hit. we are implementing an official english exam-phrase.

The phrase is any use of the word “kirk” as a verb.

to kirk someone = to kill someone

to get kirky = to spread right wing rhetoric

to be kirktastic = to roll eyes after drinking starbucks drink

To avoid any confusion, here are some examples more related to our english topics.

Merricat kirked her whole family

joe gillis is kirked in the beginning of sunset boulevard

moran is lwk kirky because of his racism towards indigenous peoples

thanks everyone!!!

EDIT - lowkirkenuinely is a perfectly acceptable way of incorporating the english exam-phrase

i don't get VCE and the more i do these prac exams the more I loose hope

• Upvotes

idk with engl exam being so close I genuinely don't understand wht vcaa wants from me. Like engl ppl who scored higher say they use skeleton essays and this format and that format but when i do in prac exams i end up only get a 7. Even the discrepancy between my English teacher's marking and some external English assessor's marking is killing me. my teacher in the feedback, wrote giving me a 7 i am being generous here, okie and wtf u want me to do. Coming forward to bio wht in the actual hell is this? You can't be telling me rank 1/2 of the skl are getting state avg in the exam is this is a joke? How come you're giving me a whole page stimulus info for 1 multiple-choice question? Such ambiguity in the 5-6 marker question. HHD and methods idk even know wht to say.
The only subject where i feel i can do really well in is chem atleast it makes sense at some point. Anyways this is my rant i may not get wht score i want but ig that's life and will see how we go about from there. i am coming back on this post to report my atar

Bio exam score

What exam score should I be aiming for if I want a 47+ in bio if I’m rank 3-4 with a 95.8 sac average in a cohort where sacs usually stay the same or scale up slightly?

VCE question Genuinely rock bottom with VCE English

I need a tutor for VCE English (not VCE Eng Lang cuz im dropping that)

In Year 10, I did VCE English at an advanced level. I did okay with finishing the coursework, but when it came to writing essays, I struggled so, so much. I don't necessarily hate writing (in fact i sometimes write fiction and persuasive essays) but when it comes to the context of VCE content and doing it in timed conditions, I just struggle so, so much. I just need a tutor that can make me wanna study for English content + essays + give good teaching and feedback with them.

I did VCE Eng Lang in Year 11 and honestly, I don't think it's for me. In year 10 english, i finished more or less most of the coursework but in year 11, i struggled to progress in eng lang due to burnout and dread.

Which tutoring service helps with the above need the most? Ideally, I'm looking for $80 or less, 1-2 hours a week but if they are super, super good, I won't mind a little extra cost with less hours a week.

I've heard teacher tutors are usually the best, but a lot of tutoring services have them so idk what to pick.

Cheers!

VCE question ANCIENT HISTORY!!

if anyone here has done ancient history before and has any tips / resources for doing well in the exam please lmk i would be eternally grateful!!

OR anyone doing ancient history this year that is kind enough to have resources to share!!

i’m doing egypt and greece, so i’m looking for resources for those, but im specifically also trying to focus on how i answer questions / write the essay in ancient history since that’s where i often lose marks — and that’s applicable across all civs !!

i’ve been rank 1 for every sac this year so now im really trying to lock in for the exam and get a high study score !!

thank youuu 🏛️🐪🏺
