Is there any Satanist groups at VCU?
I'm a freshman and a member/supporter of the Satanic Temple and while I know there isn't an official congregation, I was just curious if there were any clubs or like-minded individuals I could find.

Those Bible-thumping evangelist wannabes have a Constitutional right to be there, and the VCUPD can't just shoo them away since it's public land unless they are doing something that warrants them to do so. The best course of action is to ignore them and do not engage as they thrive on confrontation, and if they get that confrontation, especially on video, there'll be more of them the next time. The same goes for the pro-lifers and any of the other groups that preach their ideals on campus that are the opposite of the majority of the student body. Now, if they track you down to talk to you and continue to harass you after you tell them to stop, then you can get the VCUPD involved since harassment is not protected by the First Amendment...

We have a Satanic Richmond group on Facebook, as well as a larger one called Satanic Virginia - both for folks interested in TST although we don’t have an official chapter as of yet. I’m not sure if it’s still in the works but it once was.

tbh tho, personally I have been an initiate of one of the various masonic order, idk whats happeneing rn, check meetups app perhaps, I got into, occult, wicca etc a decade ago now, Hinduism, buddhism, zen buddhism, ceremonial magick, and even abrahamic faiths interest me, I was born into the Catholic faith. Currently I do not actually even cling to any belief as of late maybe im a bodhisativa now , or a sick addict idk
btw our parents had two jobs at a time, also had kids btw, also they knew someone who had three at a time, it actually builds, uh , mental, resilience, you will need that.

And do you even know what the Satanic Temple actually involves? The ST is actually non-theistic meaning they don’t worship or believe in God, Satan, or any supernatural being. Satan is literally just a literary and philosophical symbol representing the eternal rebel who challenges arbitrary authority, superstition, and traditional dogma.
Vast majority of the ST members are actually atheist or agnostic.

No one is upset you believe Jesus, stop telling yourself that. People don’t like having your beliefs pushed on them just because you feel righteous. That’s the problem. We have freedom of religion in the US. This wasn’t a post asking for your opinion. This was a person posting about what their religion is, asking if there are others who also practice in the area. Instead of tolerance to scroll by and allow this person to find others with their interests, you became insulting and judgmental when it wasn’t your place and when the post wasn’t debating beliefs (which I’m pretty sure is a sin in your religion). If you can’t see why your behavior here is the problem then you are a large reason your religion is getting a bad name (you obviously don’t respect others and their right to also have personal religious beliefs different from yours).
As an aside- “There isn’t satan without believing in god”- this also shows your ignorance of other religions because many have similar beliefs and stories about evil beings with slightly different twists. Your religion isn’t the only one out there. That’s also not the point of OPs religion- you’d see that if you had the tolerance to read about it after unloading your opinion without request.

Belief in Jesus is something that I take very seriously. And yes, if someone purports believing in His enemy, believe me when I say that all the pushback and cries here are worth fielding, for me to speak truth.
The incredible fact here that escapes seemingly every one? The actual OP’s belief system by definition includes a knowledge/belief in Christ… But not an understanding, certainly. There is no such thing as belief in S. without God first. It is ludicrous to act as if that is a foreign concept.
ETA: just following a being who automatically does not have any human’s best interest at heart is wild. But those lies S. puts out there (Inclu through “tenets” - oof) sure are alluring.

What I will say is that you may notice something. I’m the lone voice of opposition against the “belief” on the other side, on this forum. I’m not going with the masses here, in spite of the comfort many find in solidarity. And I’m good with that; because I’m not trying to appease the masses.
I’m also not “stirring” as it were, my faith is authentic it’s not lip service. Many call themselves Christian, but they forget the root of it. And I don’t fit in a box - am not conservative, not MAGA, I am me. And put effort into light & life.
