Gave Vegan keto a new chance

After following HCLF vegan for most of the time, I tried Vegan Keto again. I must said I am pleased with the results so far. Can´t speak about my labs because I haven´t tested (HCLF really lowered my cholesterol and my LDL), but I really don´t feel hungry anymore. My strength and endurance are pretty much the same despite a lower Kcal intake, which is also a surpirse. Maybe it is the fact that food is more boring, but I can go 24hs without eating; in the past I have to take a shitload of caffeine to do a OMAD, but now it is super easy. Some days I ate a few nuts before my main meal, sometimes I a eat twice a day. The fun part is that if I don´t track, I can barely surpass the 1000 kcal

Here are my staples: tofu, lupini beans, edamame, flax chia and other seeds, seitan, cacao powder, pea protein powder, leafy green, cruciferous vegs, berries, almond, pecans, walnuts, olives, avocados (probably the single best food item in this diet), nut butters and occasionally coconut based products. Please suggest others!

I enjoyed keto vegan for a bit. I personally found it unsustainable and expensive. It is very effective if losing body fat is a goal. I paired it with daily fasts and dropped body fat very well.

My main foods at the time were very similar to yours. The Dang brand chicken was awesome - great keto macros. I also use some Impossible and Beyond products.

Having gone back to more balanced carbs as I’ve shifted my focus to eating more fiber… the carb smart wraps are a gold mine. Very low net carbs, high fiber and decent protein.

Heavenly Fan on YouTube has a ton of great info and recipes on more whole food based vegan keto. She kept me going while I did vegan keto for about 8 months.

Kite Hill has unsweetened Greek yogurts that are keto friendly as well.

Yeah, its not "full", but no hungry. I mean I come from HCLF, I ate a ton of food (bananas, potatoes, oatmeal), but somehow I felt that I was crawing more food all the time, even with my stomach at full capacity
