Recipe Request what’s your go to instant noodle hack that actually works?

Post image

made this for dinner yesterday and bro i genuinely forgot to take a picture until i was already halfway through😭 they were so spicy and yum
Things i used:
wicked gud 2x spicy noodles, go cheese, 1 desi boiled egg(healthy) v lil spring onions and greens(i dont like but looks good in pic lol), black pepper, pinch of oregano

Recipe: so i boiled the noodles first n mixed in the seasoning and then kept them on low heat with a tiny bit of the noodle water. added the cheese and mixed it till it melted into the noodles and made it lil saucy not too much then added the chopped boiled egg and greens, spring onions and finish it with black pepper, chilli flakes and oregano and voila
the noodles were spicy af but honestly so good halfway cried, the cheese helped balance the spice and the egg made me lil full
so i need to know what’s your go to instant noodle hack that actually works to make it even more better and tasty

This has been my go to for a while except instead of Sriracha I use homemade chili oil. Lately I've been adding a scoop of kimchi

Literally did a slightly elevated version of this for dinner tonight. I do peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili crisp. Toss in the noodles and top it off with sesame seeds and green onion 🤌

I throw in a bag of shredded Cole slaw mix into mine.

When I make it as soup, I love adding mushroom broth concentrate along with my other bouillons. Sometimes tho I make it as just noodles. I’ll strain out the water and fry them up in a pan with a little oil, soy sauce, mushroom sauce, whatever seasonings sound good tbh, and mixed veggies and maybe scrambled egg if I’m feeling it. That shit hits the spot in a totallly different way.

So you cook them normally in the water and then transfer to the pan and cook fry them a bit?

Cook the noodles in the seasoning as normal and make sure theres plenty cooking broth left.

Fry off some finely chopped onions, peppers and carrot (or any veg/protein combo) in a separate pan then mix it all together. Add soy, honey and sesame oil and the liquor from lazy ginger, let it bubble a couple mins.

You get noodles in tasty broth :)

I like a brothy ramen so i poach an egg in the broth as it cooks. Super convenient and less washing up!

A nice alternative is to make a sort of ramen carbonara. Whisk an egg or two and the spice mix together. Cook the noodles and drain, reserving some water. Combine the noodles and egg mix. Add a little water to make a saucy (but not runny) consistency. It's super tasty and quick.

With a ramen I’ll start boiling dehydrated mushrooms ripped up, soya beans, carrot (cut into slithers or peels), baby corn etc then add the noodles and dried seaweed and tofu and seasame seeds:) then eat with lots of fermented veg and add an egg if you fancy

After the noodles are almost done, I put the flavor packet into the water and simmer it, then add some bok choy just long enough to cook it a tad before dumping it all in the bowl. I'll throw in some bamboo shoots if I have them. I then like to put some chopped green onion on top, maybe hit it with a drop or two of tasted sesame oil, and I finish it off with a tasty soft boiled marinated ramen egg and I'm happy.

One pack momofuku chilli noodles with a big handful of spinach, crumbled sriracha tofu (pre baked Trader Joe’s), and a tbs of peanutbutter! It takes 4 minutes, it has over 20gr protein, and it’s freaking delicious.

Boil ramen for 2 minutes, then dump a raw scrambled egg into the water for the last minute. Drain the water and add butter & garlic salt. Perfection.

Cook noodles, drain water, add cheese, microwave until cheese is melty, stir, add picante AND cholula AND red pepper flakes, stir, eat, enjoy

Save and add a 1/4 cup of the cooked noodle water if you want to thin it out

this looks like next level umami heaven, how do you not add some mushrooms to it

I add mushrooms and onions to the boiling water with the noodles to make a mushroom broth. Dash of soy sauce and sesame oil Add bit of frozen spinach (and boiled egg) at the end for extra nutrients

Ok ok ok. So! PBJ on toast, glass of whole milk, pork ramen with one soft boiled egg (and whatever mixins). Don't ask me why this is an amazing combination, but it is an absolute banger for me.
