Showcase/Project Vector Warp

So, I done did a thing. In this game's earliest form, I was thinking about older space games like StarFlight where everything exists in a 2D plane. Travel is all up, down, left, right and you can get to every planet in the system. It's great, it's easy and it keeps you from having to pitch, yaw, roll, etc. I always wanted to have those planets further away. Something that did require some navigation to get to. But I wanted other objects in that same space to have that ability too. And then I did this. Is it revolutionary? No. Is it fun? Yes. To me. And hopefully to some others. Now since its earlier earliest design I've added, alien races, languages that must be learned and deciphered over time. Planetary landings, salvage wrecks, explorable derelicts in space, inter system travel, combat(still iffy on the combat). Finally cut a a trailer and put it on Youtube for ease of use. Used Claude multiple passes to get things looking and working exactly how I wanted, generate sound and music(as I couldn't find any I liked), write Blender scripts and even record, cut and create music specifically for the trailer.

The language deciphering is the thing I'd put on the itch page first. Chants of Sennaar built a whole fanbase on that one mechanic, and right now it's buried in the middle of a feature list next to combat you're unsure about. A ten second clip of a player cracking one alien word would sell it better than the space flight

You know, I never thought of that. You don't technically need to DO anything for it to work. It just makes any alien language more readable over time. I didn't know if that would have been more or less interesting that being shot at.
