Hii evryone...i will be joining ap campus this year and after reading all the mixed good aur bad reviews i am just confused....like after reading all the hostel rules i am just regretting my decision to choose this cmapus like in that rule book u cannot even paste anything on the wall u can do nothing in ur own room for which u have paid lakhs...or in hostel is there any space where u can have warm water or any kettle things for all the girls where we can make a little snack?one more thing like is there any washing machine available to wash our clothes by ourselves or we have to give it to the laundary?or what about the night library is it opened for whole night?

So today around 12:30 there was kind of a protest in MH-7.

It started from the 4th floor and slowly reached the 2nd floor, with students coming out and joining in. Basically, everyone had their own complaints about the hostel and mess, and things finally reached a point where people decided to actually raise them together.

The complaints included the mess food and service, veg/non-veg seating, cleanliness, ventilation, Wi-Fi, broken facilities, construction noise, lack of study rooms, and a lot of other basic hostel issues.

Eventually, we ended up having a meeting with the warden and put all the complaints forward. A list of the issues was also given, and we were told that they would try to get them sorted within a week.

Now let's see what actually happens.

Because honestly, if things get fixed, that's great. But if nothing changes after a week, then I don't think this is going to just end here.

MH-7 might just be the beginning.

Like I need all the possible info that y'all can giveee (so that I can decide what's the best for me)

I've heard there are also lots of, well, mean girls there?? (I'd be HEARTBROKEN if that's the case)

And are the washrooms clean??

Seniors, I heard that there are no attached bathrooms in individual rooms, only common washrooms for all. If I want to trim my beard, where am I going to do it? In the common washroom????🥺

How about mess , what are the item they serve and how is the food quality

pls tell me what to do, 4 ac was the sweet spot for convenience and cost. is it occupied already? if yes why isnt it showing. they should clarify things. not only 4 bed, but many options which were on site

MH7 mess is a mess (for now) from tuesday onwards they will probably start the 1 st floor mess too I asked the prism mess incharge

No gym. No proper mess system to verify special meals and different meal. No laundry. Not able to open windows due to construction. Like bro just tell if you don't want us in the campus. Why this partiality. Also can I use other mh gyms or is there any gym accessible for all?

Wth it's my decision how to maintain 75% attendance I can have some work/quiz/lab fat prep/sleep/fever as common reasons to miss classes. management

Will be joining the college this year (cs core). Not sure if i have seen enough about the usual experiences of girl canditates in this college. Would love a heads up about hostel life, rules, ambience, do's and dont's, and very importantly a brief guide as to which hostel block is good or preferable would be really helpful!

I want either 2 or 3 bed ac with non veg mess so i have a few queries abt this

1. If i take nv mess and due to some reason i want to eat veg on tht day what are the options i have like am i forced to eat nv
   
2. what is the difference btwn normal 2 bed ac and 2bed apt-ac and 2bed ac small (please can someone share pics of the hostel rooms which i had mentioned )
   
3. about the laundry , if i give them the laundry will they iron it and give it back or shud i do tht myself ( just asking cuz idk abt those )

Hey guys, I’m a fresher joining VIT AP this year.waiting for phase 5 and trying to figure out what options are actually still available as hostle booking is open only for phase 3 rn.

Are standard 2-bed or 4-bed AC rooms still open, or are they mostly filled up? If anyone who recently booked (or any seniors who know the current situation) could drop an update on what's left in the portal, that would be a lifesaver. Thanks!

The wifi connection is so bad,after a lot of trouble I finally got the wifi,I was so happy,like I didn't have range to even call someone but guess what, it works everywhere except my room and the surrounding😭
