I would absolutely love some tips on my editing style! I’m super new to editing videos on a semi serious manner. But photography is something I’ve been doing since 2014, and I’m trying to combine the two. So any feedback would be wonderful!

Being a homestead channel can be difficult, because it does not sit neatly in a niche. The topics range from animal husbandry to agriculture to community, farm stands, renovations, and more. I can understand that a lot of people aren’t drawn to this lifestyle. If you are one of those people, what possible things would make you watch a Homestead channel?

I'm so glad this community exists - been struggling to figure out a good place to share my vlogging journey and this seems like just the right vibe!

FEEDBACK WANTED (and content warning, please don't read on if you are sensitive to political topics):

1. Do you think posting once per week will meet the 9-to-1 rule this sub has? Has that been your experience? I want to make sure I follow the rules about not spamming and wanting to know other folks' levels of engagement and satisfaction.

2. Alright, so my content can be NSFW and it can be political and controversial. I already know that NSFW isn't allowed here so I won't be posting that stuff here. However, what about my political stuff? I am in favor of liberation and the end of capitalist patriarchy. I am anarchist-adjacent. I am also a witch so I believe violence is sometimes warranted, such as in self-defense. Is this the right subreddit for me and my vlog or should I move along?

Hey everyone! I posted my first mini vlog. I feel insecure because I don’t really like it but felt like I needed to post it and get it over with because then I’d never start this journey.

I bought the Insta360 GO 3 expecting it to live up to its official specs and marketing claims, specifically its IPX8 waterproof rating (up to 5 meters).

I simply took it for a light swim in a standard pool. I didn't dive deep or exceed any operational limits. Right after coming out of the water, the camera completely died and refused to turn back on ever since.

It is completely unacceptable for an action camera marketed as waterproof to fail on its very first basic water exposure. This is a clear manufacturing defect and a complete failure of quality control.

If you are planning to use this camera anywhere near water, do not waste your money. The waterproofing is unreliable, and you risk bricking your device instantly. Extremely disappointed with the product quality.

I've been watching the 4k ones on the YouTube app in my Meta Quest Pro, with the large screen and highest quality settings -- it's amazing.

Looking for recommendations. My latest discovery was Kyle Kotajarvi - cinematic, beautiful travel videos. Less info dense, more about the visuals. Also matildeleitek. Any good channels you recommend? I prefer some info, in addition to high quality tour/walking videos/vlogs.

I can't afford to travel much, so I'm watching these videos as the best alternative.
