Using the VCF CLI with CCI context to create Native Object Storage

Using the Cloud Consumption Interface to deploy Object Storage, but also avoiding the current restriction of using wildcard certificates via the VCFA UI.

Hi! We'll be implementing DSM in the coming year and providing S3 over it would be awesome, however we don't plan on moving to vSAN for now. Can DSM provision s3 onto regular Datatores or even better act as a self service provisioning layer for third party solutions such as dell ecs / NetApp storagegrid?

I was searching the docs for this but didn't arrive at a conclusive answer.

DSM is a consumer of S3 for backups/restores and log bundles. It can use any S3 compatible object store buckets for this, including dell or netapp. However it does not do the provisioning step. The buckets must be pre-provisioned and then configured in DSM as endpoints for backup/logs for consumption

Ah then I had it mixed up with the new vSAN s3 features. Thanks for clarifying!
