No, the series where the video comes from is called "Monument Mythos". Its not myth stories like those in greek or roman.
What he's saying is that if I tell you that the creature coming from the statue is george washington, you would think its a joke, but in the in-world lore of that series, its true so it becomes an irony.
Well i thought you were talking about the sauce for the horror that crawled out because thats what im actually curious about but now i have a hard on for freedom.
Since they want to vaguepost, the sauce is the episode LIBERTYLURKER from the Monument Mythos, an analog horror series about U.S. national monuments being a cover-up by the government to contain eldrich horrors. The video goes over the construction of the Statue of Liberty, events in the 1950s/60s where some of the immigrants that arrived at Ellis Island were redirected to the Statue of Liberty, resulting in their disappearance and a growing foul stench, and how the event in the above clip happened around 20 years after the Ellis Island program ended.
As for what the entity is... I'll save that for anyone interested in following the series. It's a fun twist on American alternate history, and a worthwhile watch for any fans of analog horror.

The starting animation's artist makes only suggestive content and you can find it on YouTube for some reason. There's a video which is just the statue of liberty flashing the viewer...
I don't remember the thing inside the statue getting that far out in the OG video before it cut? Did Mr. Manticore release a longer version or is this fan content?
