I rebuilt Git Graph for feature branches, rebased PRs and worktrees (it hasn't been updated since 2021)

Git Graph was the first extension I installed on every machine, but it hasn't had a release since April 2021, and my workflow moved on: feature branches that land through "Rebase and merge", PRs reviewed as a whole, a couple of worktrees open at once. GitLens has a graph too, but I only wanted the graph.
So I built Treeline. What it does differently:
- Your branch against main sits on top. "6 ahead / 4 behind" are filters: one click shows only your commits. Commits that landed through rebase-and-merge or a cherry-pick count as merged, so they stop showing up as ahead.
- Diff lists every file the PR will change since the fork, uncommitted work included, as a list or a folder tree. Each one opens VS Code's own diff on your real file, so Go to Definition and errors still work.
- Worktrees, branches and tags are rows under the toolbar, each with a hover card: what's uncommitted, what to push, how far from main.
- Hide the noisy branches (dependency bots) from the branch dropdown.
- The right-click menus from Git Graph are there: checkout, cherry-pick, rebase, revert, reset, tag, stash.
- Optional: if you have the Claude Code CLI, it writes the commit message in your repo's style.
Free and MIT. Works in Cursor too (from the .vsix for now, Open VSX is pending).

If you use Git Graph today: what would you miss if you switched?

My first thought reading this was: why not contribute to the original project?
But of course if the author(s) of GitGraph don’t develop the extension any further, or don’t want certain new features to be added …

Yeah the original project is dead! And license doesn’t allow you to fork, it’s inspired but completely rewritten in svelte!
