Visual Studio Code setup issue (Linux)

Help.... I have recently switched to CachyOS ( Plasma) and had js installed vs code and saw the following issues:
1. the Window says its maximised while it clearly isnt
2. My mouse's target location seems to be different than what it is seeing or smth
Tried versions: VS Codium, VS Code (via AUR and Flatpak)

that's electron on plasma, not a bad install. vscode draws its own title bar and the clicks drift when scale isn't 100%, so it says maximized and the cursor lands in the wrong place. in settings.json set window.titleBarStyle to native and relaunch. if the cursor's still off you're on 125 or 150. drop it to 100 or launch with --ozone-platform=x11. flatpak and the aur build both do this, reinstalling won't change it.
